0:21 - 0:36 This phrase is so beautiful Ive obviously hear more than a feeling before, but this is my REAL introduction to boston i’m hoping they have more material like this🧏🏿♂️
Zero groove live, and the bass player is the culprit. Just awful. The guy is rushing every note. And, playing way too many notes.. There is no way he played on those records.
If I were the drummer trying to groove with that bass player, I would have put a drum stick straight through his eye, halfway through the tune. He,, is rushing, and on top of the beat so bad,, it makes me nauseous. There's no way he played on that great record.
Bass Player,,, Get it together. Are you on blow?? ... You are so on top of the beat, the drummer is struggling to pull you back. This guy should have been fired right out of the gate. Just terrible.
I would have fired that awful bass player on the first day of rehearsal. What were they thinking. The guy is the most self indulgent player I have ever seen. It's lead bass, at the expense of any groove... I feel for the drummer. Way too many notes. He's not in the pocket. It's just musical masturbation ,, and not very good at that. He's not playing with the band... He's on his own stage... And,,, That ridicules little march looks really bad... I just don't get it.
You can make an argument that Boston should be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame of their first album alone. Maybe the best debut album to come out ever.
Jezzzzz That bass player is so awful. No groove,, and he overplayed everything. Lead bass. This is really bad. I don't know what band you guys are commenting on, but this is not a band... Awful... Rush,, and drag,, These guy are so white...
I believe this took a good bit of effort to get to the state where it is in this video. Great work, even important in the annals of rock and roll history. Not an understatement.
