This channel is dedicated to bringing you interviews and episodes that are 💯 pure Carnivore material. Every episode is made and edited by Kelly Hogan, a 14-year Carnivore, who has lost 130 pounds and has achieved excellent health via an all-meat diet. And every episode is also pre-approved by at least one OTHER veteran Carnivore before being posted.

The point of this channel is to make the Carnivorous lifestyle accessible and relatable to everyone and to keep presenting info that will help someone live a better life. And hopefully you’ll laugh in the process.

Here's something else to consider for the Sleep Tips list and for a dopamine hit...grounding/earthing. Touch your bare feet to the earth every day. It may sound a bit woo-woo but it does make a difference. Walk around barefoot in your yard (if you have access to one), or just stand or sit in a chair with your feet on the grass or ground. It really makes a difference! I combine grounding with my morning sunlight and morning prayers so I get a 3-in-1. I also ground on my shorts walks after meals or short sunlight breaks throughout the day - I just walk around my yard several times, or there's a 2-mile dirt road by me that I can walk. Fortunately I work from home and I have a pretty big yard so it's easy for me to do. But at least try it in the morning and at the end of the day...just do it as long as is possible with your schedule and commitments. One minute is better than no minutes, two minutes is better than one, three minutes is better than two, etc. Think of it as micro-dosing...it all adds up.

This is one of the BEST discussions I have heard yet as far as my own questions are concerned. However, I DO wish someone could advise me on how to not lose more weight on the strict Carnivore diet. It seems like it's ALWAYS about losing weight. I just yesterday turned 76 yrs old. I have been a " Carnivore" for 3 solid months now, but it did take 2 months before I became a strict Carnivore. I now only eat ground beef and steaks and ALSO the healthiest eggs money can buy. (: Plus only water to drink. AlthoughI continue to have great success, I was ALREADY at the perfect weight for my height and age (5'10" and 76 yrs). I am now betting down into TBE 150s mark as far as my weight goes. This is too depressing for me because after going from 227 pounds down to 160, over a period of 10 years, I can't stand how I now look. ): I refuse to weight less than 160! Yet I love my new optically healthy lifestyle. WHAT can I do????? Anyone??? THANKS.

Wow, i never realised it but yes there is a fear of loose skin. I lost 70lbs a couple of years back doing ketogenic diet then carnivore and something flipped in my head and i couldn't bear being near my ideal weight. I missed my plump skin of being overweight. isn't that crazy? I started binging again and within 10 months had put all the weight back on. Since then I've been trying to go keto then carnivore and my brain has just rebelled. I know the skin issue was a problem but also i couldn't stand all the stupid comments about how much weight I'd lost from people. I just wanted them to shut up. I'm still me, what has my weight got to do with anything. They never said a word when i put it all back on again though. Well not to my face anyway. I've really enjoyed this video and thank you for the tips. I'm going to bear that in mind as i continue my journey to better health.

I went to a Jessie Hilgenberg camp years ago (Jessie's Girls.... google her, IFBB Professional). She taught us how to reverse diet and you HAVE to go slow. If memory serves me correctly, add 200 calories every 5 to 7 days until you get to your optimal calorie intake level. The same is true in reverse.

Yes, on the rewiring of the brain for the dopamine hits! My 12 year old son would play minecraft all day if we let him. He's only allowed 2 hours on non school days but even then, he has to row 1000 meters before he gets on the computer. And at the 1 hour mark, he has to give us another 500 meters. Used, tired muscles make his brain able to better relate impulse control and he's more likely to turn the computer off when his time is up.

One of my habits is doing pushups daily. I started with 1 yes 1 pushup , on my knees and increased by 1 each week and now I’m up to 11 per day and once I get to 20 girlies I’m going back to 1 per day but full body pushups and they are getting easier. Setting Habits do help! Start small and build up. Great info Kelly! Awesome content as always

Problem eating 30 grams of protein in one meal. Eating 8 oz of ground beef (36 gr of protein) at one time causes me to go into a "food coma" about an hour later. I am guessing that it causes a high enough blood sugar spike that my insulin resistant body can't handle. Would eating it with a lot more fat make a difference? Guess I have to experiment.

When I first started thinking about losing weight and stuff like that, I had a guy who was a coach who was a friend but he was also a health coach and he says what do you want I said I will want to lose 60 pounds he says in order to fit into a smaller casket or or what really got me to think he said and he told me he said you want to restore your health you want to get healthy in the process you’ll lose 60 or more Pounds And I guess that’s something he always tells new clients. He says what’s the purpose he said it’s just the way less on the scale you can do that while being really unhealthy and in the end, you just get a smaller casket and really opened up my eyes and I told him it was wise probably the wisest thing I’ve ever heardand he has been telling people that for years, so maybe I’ll courage somebody you know we wanna do it we wanna make sure we we stay healthy. Nothing else matters but being healthy.

@beverlyhils8988. I hope I can get to a point where I don’t need it too. Will pray for both of us. I also have osteoporosis and arthritis. My arthritis is getting better the more I eat steaks and red meat. I eat only twice a day and struggle to eat the recommended beef. It’s easier with steak. lol. I will pray for both of us. Nice talking to you Bev

I was recently diagnosed as Type 2. I was barely (1lb) into the obese category. Dr. recommended a Mediterranean diet. I said no. went carnivore with some dairy for 5 weeks. No breads no sugar, no ice. A crapton of water with electrolytes. I am in week 7 having added in lettuce and tomato (for protein burgers), and am at 36lbs lost. The caffeine is a struggle though, I need it.

Thank you for this information on dopamine. I've been struggling with addiction to alcohol for years. I didn't know that dopamine levels could even out in 30 days of restriction or that doing something challenging, like a hard work out could elevate levels to help you get thru it. I started carnivore diet jan 6 and I'm down from 168 to 143. Now, I have an idea of how I can kick alcohol. I know it will be hard, but I think I can do it. Thank you so much. Just what I needed to hear, at the right time.

I think you’re up to fifty three times a week now? Amazing!!!

I have been using Carb Manager, but since it asks for your ideal weight, it predetermines your calories per day. I'm trying to increase little by little because I have been eating about 1200 calories a day, and I don't want that to be my normal. I only have about 5 lbs left to lose, but I want my maintenance calories to be around 1800 or so. I'm 5'4" 130 lbs now. Do I ignore CM calorie suggestion?

Kelly help me with the math. You say you eat about 30 grams of protein per meal - 3 meals a day = 90 grams. But your carb manager goal say 144 grams of protein a day. and on the day you posted you'd had 222 grams, or more than double your stated 90 grams. Please help this make sense. Thank you.
