Not long upgraded from purion to this and I think its basic and dosent even work most of the time like today when I had a 25 miles wilderness route planned and had to abort as it simply wouldnt navigate. Also not very durable, the lugs on the bottom of my unit have broken and have to cable tie on for time being as would not allow bike to work of which is not ideal as I'm riding in Wales for a weekend away. A great video but I think this unit although much better for all bike metrics and data than the basic purion is reallly a big load of shit for naviagation in this day and age. Very poor Mr Bosch.
An “average’ DH biker? Double black tech trails for warm up? Come on… . I am an average biker and currently in Whistler. I am sliding down Funshine Rolly Drops, more undignified than cool, and I get squeazy when I so much as LOOK at a double black trail. Unless… well… hard to admit but - maybe I am not average? Maybe I am CRAP!!!! Still, i am having fun, and thanks for the video 😂
I guess it's all relative. I just know so many riders that are better than me, and can see so much potential for improvement in my riding that I guess I'll never feel more than average. Thanks for watching the vid and commenting. Enjoy the rest of your time in Whistler!
Grate video and riding Darren. 12:58 Sarah is the Aussie lady from previous videos right? The steep section towards the end reminded me of the steep trail in my latest video.

Thanks! Seems like Sirup got lost in translation 🤦Not sure what you call it in Canada. In the UK it‘s called squash. It’s concentrated fruit and sugar that you add to water to make a flavoured drink. They put a load of bottles in the fountain for some trailside refreshment for hikers and bikers.

You’ve got some amazing videos 👍 can you please recommend some less technical singles in central Switzerland? I’m coming back to MTB with a new trail bike and I’m looking for long downhill but flowing not so rocky 🙂

This descent would be a good place to start. There are multiple other options to be found around here on trail forks, and the views are sensational. Otherwise, you could do a lot worse than head to the Bike Kingdom in Lenzerheide and Arosa, or Flims Laax where an ebike would make it easier to get to the Vorab descent which is amazing!
