Nice one DArren... Ticking off 60 was a mammoth task at the best of times... One for the number of trails... And another because so many of the trails you want to do multiple times (but can't in favour of ticking off sme new ones) but the 52 you got was still an impressive feat! And just a side note... @JayRidesTrails has since perfected the "Stoppie to Droppie"... I've seen him pull that one off in Eberbach... :D
Cheers Phil. I think I needed that goal to stop me from just riding the same trails as I did when I was last in Whistler. I think it's safe to say it worked 😀 Looking forward to checking out Jay's new skills next time I see him!
Goats gully Captain safety Indeed ❤❤❤ The trails are so great, but kind of heavy 😂😂 Renegade is just crazy 2018 I crashed on this B line as well - same rock Last year we took the straight line 😅 Great video - I love to watch your whistler stuff 2025 we are back 😜
In deep was probably my favourite of the double blacks. Goats Gully was just crazy though. I might be back again in 2025 as well 😜 - I'm due 3 extra weeks of holiday - Dienstaltersgeschenk 😎
Great video of your epic quest mate! But as you said, it was less about actually completing it and more about having some great rides together! Goats Gully looked insane - I now realize I missed quite a few awesome trails on that last day - our parallel venture through the middle of nowhere that same day was amazing too though, as you will see in a few weeks when that video goes public 😁 Btw I think it is important to stress that I, in fact, do love me some tech trails 🤣 it is just that some trails at Whistler are really something else... and mostly, I WAS REALLY FUGGING KNACKERED by day 6... 😅😅😅
I know very well that you love a good bit of tech 😉 and you had every right to be knackered - especially after Lord of the Squirrels. What I discovered about Whistler was you don’t really know how hard a trail is until you actually try to ride it! In the end, Goats Gully was the only one where I felt completely out of my depth though. Looking forward to seeing what you got up to on your big adventure 😀
This place has so much to offer😍. It's incredible what cool but also scary trails there are😁. Alex crashed at a well-known place🙈, I'm glad he was still able to ride during his vacation. I guess Jay took the place of wingman🤘. Very cool video and great riding guys💪. Thanks for sharing and see you soon buddy✌️
Thanks Christoph. It's heaven for mountain bikers. A huge playground for adults and kids alike 🤘 Jay was a great replacement wingman 💪. I think he kind of knew I was going to ambush him with that last double black trail 😉
Thanks Jerry. Interestingly, after 3 or 4 days in the bike park your brain starts to recalibrate, and what previously seemed impossible starts to look like a realistic challenge. It's what makes biking trips to BC so amazing!
Cheers Jason. It’s surprising how quickly you slot into the rhythm of riding every day. We followed it up with another 8 days of pedaling, so by the end of the holiday, I was pretty knackered for sure.
Well done by the what an experience ashame you didn't get the tick them all off. Maybe next time Will no to ride. That stuff is full on commitment and a good guide. Those go far buddy. Have fun on the trails 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks Dave. It’s such an amazing place to ride. I’ll definitely have a much better idea of what I want to ride next time I visit. When you first get there it’s all a bit overwhelming and if you’re not careful it’s easy to end up lapping familiar trails, like we did on day 5.
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland I can most definitely see that overwhelming for sure there is nothing really in the UK that can compare to the magnitude that place you both read it well challenging. Good luck for next time buddy 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I will nöd wüsse wi steil dases würkli isch😮 uf de cam gsehts jo amel us wi chindergarte...da isch jo wahnsinn...you are a technical wonder buddy🤩🤩 bis bald😊
