Stop by Raymond tacos by the green line on lake and Pulaski. The tacos there are delicious, deep fried shells everything on it for 4$ a taco and they are big tacos not the smallest ones everywhere else
@@drivingdude8849 I lived down the street from there I heard gun shots but I never had problems with any one just be cool, be polite and respectful and help people if they ask for a dollar or two or don't be ignorant bc they will get on your heels . Basically mind you business and you will be cool
These people that make these videos piss me off. If going through a big intersection or sitting at a red light, could you show us some street signs so we know where your at. Da!
Not true! Lincoln Park and DePaul are significantly wealthier than Evanston. Half of Evanston is in poverty or not much better; the more affluent lakeshore area is nice, but not as nice as LP and DePaul.
Just absolutely sick. When is the city going to wake up, and take action to put an end to these shootings? I remember when I was living in the city, it was much different. There were still shootings, but not like there is now. Everyone was happy, and everything was pretty safe. Once Lori Lightfoot came into play, things started going downhill. Now with Mayor Brandon Johnson, it’s outrageous! One of his things he said he would do as mayor is defund the police. How stupid can you be to do a thing like that? Police are needed much more now. Shootings are going up, and a lot is just falling apart. When my parents and I go into the city to a few bakeries, when we’re on the Kennedy by the Cumberland CTA stop, my mom is outraged as to how everything is falling apart. Put some money into fixing things up. Something needs to be done to put Chicago back on the right path
Wow. Thank you very much for taking me down memory lane, congress and kilbourn has changed a lot apparently in the past 12 years. It used to be a very active hotspot until 2014 when 34 were indicted for drug sales. Im very glad i left that life behind. 😊 stay safe out there!
another one of my old nieghborhoods. where you start out, crossing wilcox on pulaski, is where i got off the bus everyday coming home from work and head east toward hamlin. it was a rougher time i still have nostalgia for.
Lived at Kenmore and Argyle in the late 90s. Wonderful seeing all the change. The train station on Broadway near Montrose looks completely different. I literally was on the Red Line while that station was on fire. Thanks for the trip. 🤘🏼
I was sooooo SCARED watching the VIDEO<<,I thought a BULLET was going tooo PIERCE thru the MONITOR and shoot me,,,,,I had to turn it off,,,WHERES all the LADIES of the NIGHT?
Congratulations! You should be proud of yourself that you had enough determination and strong will to win your battle with drug addiction. Tell me which neighborhood you want me to film and I will do it and post within a week. Once again... congratulations!
@drivingdude8849 omg congress and kilbourn! It should be cleaned up by now but that whole area in ktown is horrible. Ive been arrested at cicero and fluronoy twice so any of those areas would be a trip down memory lane as ive moved. And thank you, I don't live that lifestyle anymore.
