Why do people drive to the reservation just to get a look-see? Don't you have anything better to do? It's because of the corruption by people who take all of the Treaty Provisions that shouldn't. If people have a smidge of Indian blood, they want Treaty Provisions.

One little ideea. Why don't you compile a CD with all the videos/steps, and sell it on Amazon, or on your own web page. For many starters it will be like gold. Even if videos are on youtube. Just my two cents.

Well, I'm not a guy or have a wife that I can ask to relay me to a friend with an upholstery stapler but this is a great idea for another option for my Chieftain seat. Im weary about spending close to $1k for a seat that I might not be comfortable with. Thanks for the help!
@grandpasmountain
@grandpasmountain 4 месяца назад
I used a stapler commonly available at Home Depot. An "upholstery stapler" is just a stapler. The staples used were about 1/4" wide and 3/8" long. I totally understand. You could get an iPhone for what they want for foam and plastic.

No. The nodes (places that do not vibrate) are shown as the plate resonates. The center acts kinda like a bridge between the upper and lower bouts.

Hey man, it’s been my dream to build fiddles for a while now but I’m intimidated to start. I hardly have any money so I can’t afford to buy proper fiddle templates. I’d really like to know what your process was in properly tracing a violin onto paper for a diy template. Would be great to hear from you.

The Oglala were forced to live in the middle of nowhere. Governmental control of all indigenous Indian tribes have taken place all over this nation. In the past, a total five hundred different tribes existed in America. Much have been written about indigenous peoples experiences and their rights for existence. This type of situation occurs in all countries at some point in human history. All men are made in the image of God but love for your neighbor is difficult to maintain.

Thank younfor these!! Ive been wanting to start my own instruments and start a shop here in my town that does not have one. Im buying my first tools this koliday season and am so grateful for your tutorial vs the more traditional violin making videos as you promote the use of available and local woods as well as have a resource as to which ones have worked for you!! Me being from texas and not having acess to spruce without ordering for decent cost i am grateful to have your advice for using cedar which is everywhere down here 🎉

I ended up here because I started at part 1 of your shed build all the way through and the least I expected was a moving rendition of Amazing Grace. Now you're a Renaissance man! Your skills will be very much needed in the post industrial, post peak oil, post Western Civ collapse hellscape we're marching on to. Matter of fact writer J.H.Kunstler imagined that world for us in his novel series "A World Built By Hand". I din't rea it but I know the outlines by his own commentary and one of the aspects is people gathering around the fire and producing their own music and entertainment. No youtube or app to cover that. You're well prepped for that, 5 years on you might as well be all settled in your that neck of the woods. Have a blessed Christmas.

I notice you did not sheath the outside before applying the metal roofing. I hear many others talk about condensation forming and they take pains to prevent condensation. They talk about vapor barriers and providing ventilation between the insulation and the exterior walls. I wonder what your experience has been these past 5 years and if you have peaked behind your insulation to see what it looks like. I might also think that critters could find their way into your insulation and think it would make a fine breeding ground. I am dreaming of doing something like this as a complete amateur so I greatly appreciate your videos. I'll be playing guitar and keyboard though.

I have had many questions about this.... I had a fair amount of experience with using metal roofing in the type of application. I have excellent ventilation and the steep angle of the roof prevents dripping. I even took part of the roof off to inspect and all is well. I have had zero problems.....other than my ongoing battle with mice....lol
