Max Caulfield returns in Life is Strange: Double Exposure, an all-new supernatural murder mystery coming to Xbox Series X|S consoles, PlayStation 5®, and PC on October 29, 2024, and is also coming to Nintendo Switch.
Life is Strange was always supposed to be an anthology, the original creators always said that they wanted to make a new story with new characters every time. It’s clear that this new company wants to play it safe with this game, which is why they brought back Max, time powers, and a murder mystery. It was never supposed to be that way, that’s why Life is Strange 2 was so different and risky, but it ended up being great, it was something fresh and new and gave us new perspectives. In my heart, Max and Chloe’s story is over. Sean and Daniels story is over. You can’t make a continuation of a previous Life is Strange game because you can’t pick a canon ending, it ruins the whole point of the games.
This game has a good idea and a lot of potential, if only they executed better. Plus the score is amazing, especially relatable more to music enthusiasts and guitarists
i’m confused bc she even said for a second she thought “…” meaning that safi got sh0t. but she kept walking and then sat and d!ed. and she fainted so safi was nearby for a while …? lemme rewatch..
this gets even stranger, this is Max, but having new powers? Omg and 2 endings is not the problem. Just let player choose the beginning. Just let her do long rewind with foto, or something. They really removed 2 things what made LiS so interesting in the begin.
After seeing Max again, I think I fell in love with a fictional character for the second time, this is because of your person, Max, kindness, charisma and other good qualities that made me fall in love with Max's figure
Someone help me understand please...so..Max did NOT learn from the past ?? Did NOT learn that trying to prevent something in the past will cause only destruction like that storm that happened? And now we have another game with the same mistake and same plot? 😭
I want an alternate reality where Rachel and chole are alive and together. Man I would love to play as Rachel she is definitely my favourite and one of the more complex characters

I really hope max still has her journal I really loved that option so much. And I do hope we get a least some sort of rewind power. But I do think it would make sense that her not using her power after Acadia bay might cause her powers to change to something much more powerful and explosive and uncontrollable. Like when you bottle up emotions.
After watching the teaser of the game for the first time, I wondered how Max learned to move between universes. I started looking for an answer on the Internet and found official comics about Life is Strange from the author of the game. Only 4 books of 25 pages. And after reading the comics, everything fell into place. In the game, both Rachel and Chloe will be alive. ❤❤
I love the game and I respect that yall want to open the door for New players but Realistically speaking if you was dealt a Traumatic experience like max did in season 1 ending You would become much closer with that Person you experienced it with. Trauma bonding of some sort (Not Necessarily in a romantic type of way) idk, i feel like OG players waiting so long for a return and a Bigger deep dive into what happened after season 1. Its clear the developers want a Clean slate and a new story and if that IS the case perhaps don’t even use max or Chloe? Not sounding ungrateful but Considering the reason we all wanted max was to see what came of everything i do like the idea or murder mystery but i feel like yall dropped the ball a bit. Not to mention how Familiar the idea of saving a friend is this would of been a Prime reason to bring chloe back along. Even the idea of max leaving chloe AGAIN after all they been through just sucks. I do respect that you all just want to make the game more Friendly to new comers but Just like Red Dead redemption they made the prequel carry over without needing to play the 1st game. Im still supporting but a Little upset. If chloe wasnt gonna play a big role i wish the story wouldn’t even of brought back max tbh theyre co-dependent on one another like peanut butter and jelly. Without the jelly it just dont balance itself out. And without the peanut butter to balance the sweetness it just doesn’t equal out. Again STILL supporting just wish you could of catered to the OG players A LITTLE more. The same way Red dead redemption stayed true to the ORIGINAL story but it blended enough for new players. I like life is strange because each game saves transitioned. And with this being A new generation of gaming i was hoping they could really take it to a new level…
I need to play this game tbh........ever since the first life is strange, I've been chasing closure and yeah maybe this game won't give me the closure I want but non the less I need to find out....also I'm really hoping that they do a dlc called "after the storm" and it would be the same amount of episodes of before the storm but with Max and Chloe.....this could still work out! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞😊
Me and my SISTER ARE SO EXCITED!!! The first one is one of our favourite ever games and the subsequent ones never gave us the same feeling. LIS 2 was so boring we didn’t even finish and true colours was good but nothing like LIS 1. Were PUMPED
