The only titan I'll spring for now is War for/Fall of Cybertron Trypticon. I find the titan class awkward and no real fun, I'm honestly debating selling the ones i have
thats the perfect megatron design, he's not overcomplicated like bayverse, but still carries that creepyness and grandeur, he's not some dude with a grey face in a cardboard suit wearing a bucket for a hat too
Big, impressive, and really cumbersome and space consuming to get any real joy out of. I feel the same way about the Titans as I do about Haslab Unicron. A lot of effort put into something I'll never be able to afford let alone make proper use out of unlike most smaller, manageable, affordable Transformers. I will again say the alt mode is awesomely detailed though the seeker compartment seems somewhat unnecessary, and unfulfilling. Given Siege, and Earthrise have been over for a while why does Nemesis look like she has the same stupid connecting gimmick on loading ramp as Skylinx. Cross compatibility is neat, but a stupid gimmick is still a stupid gimmick.
6:04 yes and it would be the autobot nemesis. And the Decepticon ark. How's that for taster's choice. The Nemesis would be orange. And the ark would be purple.
Other potential is to have made it into a tryptocon and could’ve opened the door for the concept of a tryptocon species… would look really cool with an armybuild of Tarn. … also somebody tell Hasbro to calm down the super shins.
ngl I really wish we had a smaller version of her in like a voyager class just because man I love the design and alt mode but my GOD the titan size and price are just so unwieldy
So much potential… they could’ve done a Victorian dress-deathqueen, looking regal and intimidating. I just see another giant robot and what could have been. Weapons are lame. Still at least looks nice.
nemesis is probably one of my favourite titans because of how much effort they put into making her out of her altmode, starting at the ship was a real challenge compared to the ark’s flat and broad physique. with him you kinda just had to hide a few robot bits, but the nemesis is a much more complex shape for a ship, and that ends up giving her a very unique physical shape. she’s gangly, she’s sharp, she’s got a real sense of power behind those monstrous proportions. she’s a real triumph of what can be done for engineering at titan class i think, just one of the coolest to ever do it.
I like the Nemesis so much more than the Ark, and not just because I didn’t have to disassemble the damn shoulder joint to prevent future breakage. Despite my love for her, she will continue to remain in ship mode like her Autobot counterpart.
iirc Legacy Animated Prowl's thighs were made in concept to have saddlebag/pockets and the people who designed the sculpt misinterpreted the extra bulk. Not that I'm complaining, it makes Chromia beefier, but it's a weird little bit of trivia.
Goddamn man please warn people before you start whispering, some people (me) really can't stand ASMR It's the audio equivalent of having a spider unexpectedly land on your arm
Crashbar was super late to the party, but really like him. The weapon bits holding the bike together is pretty clever. In robot mode they make a great jetpack. Prowl I only got as Chromia. Already been down the Animated road, and unless we get CC Lugnut at some point I think I'm good. Not much to say about the Insecticons as I only own Kickback, but i can see the novelty of having all three of them. Metal Hawk is great but annoys me that they've improved the grey plastic on the repack when they could have just done that the first time around. Yeah they're not getting my money as they already got me with the Takara Triple Take Over pack. Twincast is a nice reference to Headmasters when he was reborn, but I'll stick with the Legacy release as I'd probably feel obligated to set Black Soundwave as well.
@@TheSheepWielder yeah right? Like I think the Armada guy should be a new mold but RM was laser cycle repaint to begin with so why not make the best of it. Plus it’ll be a solid cope till a proper Armada one drops
