Love this All-in-one review. Hasbro made up for the crappy CW Menasor in Legacy, here's to making up for the Technobots in Gen. Prime.

Nice, compact, and decisive review. While I missed the entirety of Combiner Wars, I will say the Unite Warriors look significantly better than Hasbro's offerings. Lightspeed, and Afterburner definitely have the most convincing alt modes. Definitely very excited to see more Combiner updates in Legacy. Would definitely love to see more reviews in this format as I know next to nothing about Combiner Wars other than they were kinda okay.

I would like a Tier list of Combiner Wars Combiners now that you have put Computron near the top.

The Technobots were the one I wanted updated the most. Like used the Elita-1 bomber for Silverbolt, rename Nosecone, Strafe, and Afterburner. Just a refresh of the team since it's clear this was an afterthought even during G1. I'm glad they kept the same general color scheme. It made them look like member of a team. Solid review. I'd recommend a weeklong team on maybe once a month. Something along those line.

I missed out on Computron, but bought Superion, Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus and Defensor. Tl;dr, the individual bots are most all garbage by today's standards (thanks WfC and Legacy trilogies), but as combiners they're all pretty good except Menasor. If you can find them nowadays, I highly recommend the Perfect Effect upgrade kits. They make each of the combiners far better; giving them dedicated hands and feet that blow HasTak's away plus additional accessories ranging from guns for the little guys to new heads and chest plates for the full gestalts. Given how good the set is with the upgrades, Hastak would have to make a potential, future Superion mind-bogglingly good both as a combiner and individuals for me to replace what I have.

this one is the superior nosecone, and there's nothing that can convince me of the contrary been looking around for him and strafe for a while, most likelly gonna have to part with enough funds to buy a whole titan class for the full set. maybe later, on sunnier days

A local toy shop near me has this, for 300. I’m almost tempted to save up and get it or trade some stuff in.

I remember seeing the Hasbro Computron set and was half and half on buying it since I didn't have a complete combiner at the time. Also the Autobot combines are lame in design compared to the Decepticon combines. Liokaizer is still my favorite set

Literally the only downside appears to be no Scrounge [oh, and the dedicated handsenfeet], but hoping I can find either CW or UW Computron for a reasonable price which I doubt

You can combine all the weapons to a large weapon for computron. You don’t need to store them loose on him.

I never understood the hate for the CW Breakdown mold, but that may come down to the fact I only ever had CW Breakdown and UW Lightspeed. I totally get they aren't perfect, but I also don't get the overwhelmingly negative reputation he has.

Who will they fight?

12:13 Wow, the Hasbro one looks awful. The only good things about it are the hands/feet, rare Brawl mold and the included Scrounge.

Nono, Unite Warriors Nosecone is the better one. It actually looks like it’ll drill through Unicron’s head, instead of the wimpy limp-dicked one Hasbro went with.
