I kind of wish they had stuck to the pretenders they hadn’t already done in previous toy lines. Like, Skullgrin, Metalhawk, Bomburst, and Bludgeon had all gotten figures before Legacy. I just wish we could have had more guys like Iguanus get more love, like Stranglehold, and Carnivac
iirc Legacy Animated Prowl's thighs were made in concept to have saddlebag/pockets and the people who designed the sculpt misinterpreted the extra bulk. Not that I'm complaining, it makes Chromia beefier, but it's a weird little bit of trivia.
Crashbar was super late to the party, but really like him. The weapon bits holding the bike together is pretty clever. In robot mode they make a great jetpack. Prowl I only got as Chromia. Already been down the Animated road, and unless we get CC Lugnut at some point I think I'm good. Not much to say about the Insecticons as I only own Kickback, but i can see the novelty of having all three of them. Metal Hawk is great but annoys me that they've improved the grey plastic on the repack when they could have just done that the first time around. Yeah they're not getting my money as they already got me with the Takara Triple Take Over pack. Twincast is a nice reference to Headmasters when he was reborn, but I'll stick with the Legacy release as I'd probably feel obligated to set Black Soundwave as well.
@@TheSheepWielder yeah right? Like I think the Armada guy should be a new mold but RM was laser cycle repaint to begin with so why not make the best of it. Plus it’ll be a solid cope till a proper Armada one drops
Goddamn man please warn people before you start whispering, some people (me) really can't stand ASMR It's the audio equivalent of having a spider unexpectedly land on your arm
