I think people are more upset at the fact that they need to spend $500 (and they need to buy the game) to actually play that one game when the other Arkham games released on PS, Xbox, PC, and now the switch. It's a waste of money. And sure, there are other games on the meta quest, but those games (even if they're VR) aren't comparable to the games other consoles have like GTA 5, Assassins Creed, Forza, COD, God Of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Spider-Man and the hundreds of other games they have.
Have you played any VR games at all? I recommend trying something like into the radius. Watching VR is nothing like playing it. Think of your first time on a rollercoaster that you just had a blast. That’s VR gaming. It’s gaming all over again. I get it sucks. 100% $500 ain’t cheap. But what about console exclusives? Same thing happens right?
@@ButtorsVRGaming Yes, I have played VR games before and you are right, playing and watching VR is absolutely not the same thing. And this kinda depends on the person to but I would much rather play games like Red Dead Redemption 2 or God Of War because they are of so much higher quality in terms of story, graphics, and gameplay. Not only that, but there's more variety of popular, high quality games in Xbox, PS, and especially PC. Way more than the meta quest. I'm not saying meta quest is a bad console or anything, I'm just saying other consoles outperform it in terms of variety and quality of games and its spread out to many consoles, removing limits on what players can play on. And yeah, console exclusives don't get a pass. It's the reason why I haven't played Spider-Man 2.
I don't think 60 bucks is justified for a 7-hour game, but this is Metro we're talking about and they put a lot of quality into their games so I think it's completely justified if it's going to be $70 or $60 or whatever for this game
The thing is vertigo games is making it and their arizona suneshine games was $50 and that was overpriced for that quality. Hopefully vertigo games lives up to the metro legacy of deep silver because as far as i know, deep silver is only publishing, not developing the game
@@bxile730 I personally really did like the Arizona Sunshine series and I know that a bunch of people did too. I really did like the second game. I did think it was overpriced but I thought it was really good but vertical games didn't only make Arizona Sunshine. They make other games too and their games usually have pretty good quality, also, it looks like from the game trailer that they built this off of the backbone of Half-Life Alex, you can see by how the hands move and by how the game just looks itself
@@MR.TOPHAT2007 i liked Arizona sunshine 2 as well but it was a complete buggy mess in my experience. I had to start the game from beginning mid way through because of a game breaking bug. Half life alyx is a good example of a game that has the quality’s worth $60-$70
@@ButtorsVRGaming I like it a lot. You have to like the combat which is mostly strafing all the time while you get your shots in. If you don’t like that or are not good at intense strafing/shooting it’s not for you. If you have problems advancing in Ancient Dungeon, you will here as well. Don’t ever stand still in a fight. I’m about 7 hours played, just got biopass 3 and most upgrades aren't available for me. The token/credit system is too slow a process to feel like you’re leveling up enough to enjoy them. I may beat the game before seeing half the upgrades but that remains to be seen. You’ll be going through the same areas over and over again as you try to find all the bio passes to unlock new sections and rooms. Can get monotonous. Fortunately the base has great atmosphere with solid level design for an indie game. Even though the combat is repetitive,it’s solid and satisfying at least. Weapons feel great and are creative, just wish the grubber had better hit animations. Ammo can get scarce often so get good at grubbing (uses no ammo). Movement and controls are good. No run or crouch but Brainlink works cleverly when you get it to get to remote areas and crawl through vents. Genomass is an interesting way to get ammo/meds/etc. Very satisfying to load it (and everything) into your wrist link. I picked this up on a recent sale and it’s a solid buy for sci/fi fans who want Metroid like gameplay and adventure. So far I give it an 8. Gave 5 stars in the store to support the dev and games like this. Remember folks, save often!
You and I both know there is a massive difference between VR first and UEVR. I personally see the appeal in UEVR mods. However having a game built with VR first in mind is important to me.

Current projection is it’s coming by the end of 2024. That is the hope. however, we are unsure if that is accurate sony has the lead things in the past.
Like this game but its a bug where your progress isnt saved . Ive had to redo mission one like 3 times it doesn't help that the missions and subsections can drag out and you cant skip most cinematics and in game talking etc

The only time that I BET we'll see new information about this game is when *Alien: Romulus* is close to releasing. I mean... a new Aliens movie around agust? Why wouldn't they show information around that time.
I hope it's coop honestly. large open world. not that tunnel vision Aliens Colonial Marines was ass. It was fun cause I'm a fan but they dropped it after review bombs.. no more DLC... that was 10 years ago.. I was on xbox 360.. junk console. Also VR is expensive and not everyone owns it. Maybe youtubers streamers... but I'll play it non VR cause it's bad for you. I couldn't put in 1,000 hours on VR no way.
I would honestly love a semi or even open-world feel to the game. Maybe Aliens or even humans can act as enemies. Hoping it's like Zombi (2012) in terms of survival and horror. Just please don't have the death system where you are forced to play as someone else. Hoping the game is a mix of Zombi and Alien Isolation🙏🙏🤞🤞
Yeah VR market is bad and a company that hasn't made shit.. also bad. Just like Iron gate studios or Aliens fire team elite that game died... 2 years ago.. content man or replay value. If it's not a live game service it will not get played. If it's single player then maybe. Aliens Dark Descent was awesome but once you beat it then meh.. then wait months for DLC... game get's forgotten about.

A VR prequel game hard pass. I do not want to see how hard they retcon the storyline of the previous games. M2033 is awesome then M2034 retconed the storyline then ME retconed the storyline even more.
Horizon Worlds user here. I like the intro And title but i disagree with the part where you said you can't customize your own home. You actually got unlimited quota to build Worlds. You can build whatever you want, whether a space station or a penthouse apartment. But yes, the downside is that they don't have a completed home template, you gotta put together almost from scratch, put the walls and roof yourself and drag the furnitures out from the library, and... Yes.. It can takes hours to nights to build your own vr home for it to be ready to invite your friends over. And.. Sadly, it takes even more time to build it to impress. It's like playing virtual Lego But i admit the game is still a long long way to go until it can compete with Sony or Nintendo.
I'm now wondering if Serdar is a young khan. They look similar from what we see of him and if this is a more spiritual journey this could explain khans connection to the spirits of the metro. Not that we needed an origin story but if he is khan hopefully the story hits hard

Secondlife is still the best Social World, the possiblities are really endless, even when you find something is missing, just ask a Creator and after 1 day its there, when you dig deeper you can bring your deepest fantasy come true they have even BDSM sections with all sort of kinks or turn into a animal and become the pet for a kawaii anime waifu with a leash which is not for roleplay and not just a toy, its real and cant be broken and has the ability to lock you down to the waifu even when you Log off and relog, you can even beeing locked in a cage and after relog you cant get out when locked per rlv, only when the waifu comes and lets you out, iknow this is very kinky but i just want to give a example for this incredible really endless possibilities you can do in secondlife, no other social world can do this, there are some Beds with over 1000+ Animations/Poses! you can become a Trex with all the Abilities and Animations, or a Undead Zombierex too and raise a Army of Zombie minions, someone programms animal crossing inside secondlife with exact the same animations and abilities/huds characters.
This is I think what VR chat has/wants/is still becoming TBH. They have a much better chance at becoming the metaverse if they keep going the direction they are.
VR Chat cant be compared with Secondlife its also way to full with a Meme childish loud community sadly and the Worlds are also way to small with to less Abilities, everyone is the same and the Avatar is just a Skin without own Abilties,animations and stuff plus they not even offer a own character creator, so they are very very much on the bottom lowlevel but they did a good job with handtracking. VR Chat will never reach the Secondlife Landmark Level, its way more than just another Social App with its exklusiv Abilties and Features. When you use a Dragonball Frieza Character in VR Chat he cant do anything its just a Skin, but when you use the Frieza Character in Secondlife with his Abilties you can actually destroy the Planet with his Supernova and use his other Abilties, thats why there are also a lot of Rules for Worlds.@@ButtorsVRGaming
there are also great xbox 360 games with avatars and i loved to be jack of blades from fable game but with the xbox one everything changed, no avatar games, no costumes, you cant even see the avatars from your friends they are like non existent its very sad. Would love to have customisation stuff in meta horzon worlds too, but there is nothing, look at rec room, they have fully own homes and you can even test and buy homes from others iin the marketplace and rec room is not such a moneymonster like facebook but they listen to the community and create a great world to live in together. I have a huggywuggy whack a mole arcade machine some other arcades, a working playable pc pong, verhicles for a tour and a build in train in my home so its very unique. In meta horizon worlds everyone has the same home.... maybe change some pictures but thats is all.... very sad because i like to use my own avatar, the rec rooms one are looking too weird. oh and still waiting for hand tracking, i dont like to play with controllers, its just more natural to use the own hands, look at VR chat they also add handtracking!
Personally i've never played Horizon Worlds because all the things that you are talking about can already be found in VRChat with much better quality. Sure it may take a bit of research if you want to make your own worlds and avatar customization's, but even for someone like me who knows very little about Unity or video game creation can get some fairly decent results from just looking up a few tutorials.
Yeah, Horizon doesn’t get custom avatars like VR chat so I think that’s a big reason it doesn’t do as well. But also, there is a lot that meta could be doing on the front of customization because of how much IP they have.
i'm surprised you concluded that VR was an afterthought when the main and basically only mechanic in the game was created with VR in mind. thanks for the review though, great to hear your thoughts
I’m not asking for vr exclusive titles from AAA games im asking for the option such as what capcom is doing with RE . Consider that your average Modder is able to take games like cyber punk 2077 or re2 remake and make vr support for them, why can’t big developers do it? If a single person can do it why not a studio? Remakes like dead space are not for me worth dropping the money on but if you can give me a way to completely experience the game in a new way heck yeah im buying it.
