Hello everyone, I'm Alessandro, Alex, or Alecaddd, as you wish. This is my channel, focused on Development, Design, Tech news, and other Nerdy stuff. I'm mostly focused on Tutorials and guides for Developers and Designers that want to learn HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, WORDPRESS, GIT, LARAVEL, SQL, AWS, VUEJS, and how to bake a potato.
Please consider subscribing to my RU-vid Channel if you like my videos and you want to see more. Let me know which topic I should tackle if you want more web development or design, or you want me to just shut up. Anyway, thank you for stopping by and, as usual, Happy Coding!
I upgraded from Windows 7 to windows 10 to support my new Nikon camera software and after a few months it started slowing down (I have 64gb of ram) and now it started bugging like crazy : it boots slowly up and then doesn’t allow me to access my programs anymore, all I can do is try to save my files on a hard drive and suddenly it turns into a black screen with only showing up the restart button and internet connected button dow the menu. It’s terribly frustrating, I lost so much time making my own PCS from the age of 20 to 44. It first was fun and now I keep having bugs on windows, I will switch to MAC now
Hello! I am currently on lesson 42. Everything works fine so far, but the Shortcode in the menu did not appear. I checked everything 3-4 times. Could it be a version thing!?
I've worked for 39 years in the IT industry and I can say that Microsoft Windows, in it's various forms, is the worst operating system I have ever used. The best operating systems were always some UNIX variant.
Can you please answer the question to why you are running custom_post_type() in both the constructor and in the activate methods? It just looks like a bad practice.
I always get very nervous when I hear talk of redoing UIs. I can not think of many such changes that are better. I often find that things I used to do easily become difficult or impossible. I'll never forget an update to thuinderbird that deleted everything in my calendar. It took quite a while to reconstruct it. I promise that anything like this happens I'm done with thunderbird.
Great series. Thank you, I'm learning a lot. About this exemple : My Settings is not saved. I got the message: You might need to clear cache if you are using a cache plugin to see your updates. Any suggestion?
Last time i tried Vscode in linux the fonts looked ugly i was not able yo fixed it, but i see that that in your case the fonts looks clear, did you change anything to make your vs code font looks so good ?
Ok, so that video was released in early jan 2023, now we are in mid June 2024 so it's the 50% milestone of the renovation project. Is there any kind of mid-way project status?
I have a question please its driving me crazy I have an email address from a service provider which I use Thunderbird to open read send etc: which is all I want thunderbird for nothing else. The problem is if I'm in Gmail and want to save an email it saves it as thunderbird format, plus if I want to respond to a link I might get in a Gmail email when I click respond it opens in the Thunderbird program. It's like Thunderbird is the default program. How the hell do I stop it, please.

Hi, I'm currently working on a plugin, followed the tutorial till part 16 with no errors, after this part I am having these errors: >> Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, string given in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\class-wp-object-cache.php on line 406 >> Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, string given in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\option.php on line 273 >> Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, string given in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\option.php on line 362 >> Warning: Array to string conversion in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\formatting.php on line 1108 I'm on WordPress version 6.5.3. Anyone knows what's the issue here? I've been trying to fix it, no results, and couldn't really find any solutions online (might've missed them). Or is this tutorial outdated already?
I’ve been using TB for decades - thank you BTW - but your video is presented so fast I just couldn’t follow it. Don’t change what works - it may not be perfect but it’s a tool, not a reason to exist itself. Too many tools now get constantly changed making life a continual catching up process just to essentially do the same thing - in this case send and read emails. Constantly having to learn to use the same tool is counterproductive. I don’t think you developers realise how users don’t necessarily understand this tool - Thunderbird. The simplicity hides the complexity under the hood. If I change something I don’t know what’s happened so can’t get back to what I’m used to. In short I watched this several times and am more confused than ever.
I think your idea of keeping as much as is possible is a very good idea. I was totally mystified why I don't have a 'get messages' button any more. It wasn't until I read your second video that I knew where it was (not a button anymore). Regards, AB
