I bough that camera some months ago and the sd card placement was wrong so I had to open up the camera and put it how it supposed to be I only got one video from that camera , after that it dint work it turned on but it dint record or take photos and a couple of seconds later it will just turn off
June 2024 , just bought this worthless pc. of crap they call a "cam" ! Battery life is poor, cannot keep it connected to home wi-fi. Thanks for the review , it was on point exactly as the product came ! Disgusted and returning it .

Nothing about WHICH app he is using or specifically how to configure connect the app to the camera. I purchased one and downloaded a from the QR code on the instruction pamphlet. They are not the same. I used the camera’s WiFi network but the app can’t find it. The review says the camera stinks so I’ll just return it.
I just ordered from Western Digital directly and it’s looking the exact same as the one on the left so I’m not sure why you’re saying that it’s fake. Mine looks like the one on the left and it’s a 1.5 TB and I plugged it in and it says 1.5 TB. Mine was also fairly easy to open as well. How would you explain that?
This was just a video on my experience with fake SanDisk cards, I never claimed that every SD card that exhibits these qualities are fakes. To answer your question, though, I would assume that packaging varies by region. Those sold in North America should be difficult to open. As for self-reported storage, my point was that SD cards can be easily hacked to display the wrong storage size, and the only way to truly know is to test it.
@@doodlejkreviews I called the company to find out if they are in fact legit and they were, but the card was corrupt. I did buy it in the States as well. It sucks that there are so many scammers and counterfeit things out there that we have to test everything. I would never buy from Amazon or even ebay. Theres too many crooks. Amazon is mostly counterfeit. Anyway videos like yours are needed to open people eyes. Thanks
Please help. This type of cam doesn't support ONVIF and I can't use PC or Blueiris to get video from this cam. atleast i don't know how. Is there a way to connect this cam on blueiris?
The on off button is flashing red - have tried new cables. Can connect tot camera but the camera doesn’t come on, it’s just a grey box?? Any ideas please
Hmm . I just bought one and mine has different buttons (2, one large, one small'). And it was claimd to do motion detection but I cannot make that work. The manual does not mention it, instead it talks of RS mode, which seems to jst turn on the IR lights, but does not enable motion detection?
Just bought 4 Extreme Pro micro SD cards from a small shop in Akihabara at a fraction of the department store prices. More in line with the UK price. All looks good apart from the cardboard thing, it broke quite easily. The plastic part was sealed on the back. The backs of the adapters all have the correct production date and Made in China script. And the script on the cards is correct. I’m about to go and buy a couple DJi action cams, so I’m praying they’re legit and work okay as I’ve read about too many problems with San Disk cards in DJi action 3 cameras.
My "new" SQ8's are plastic but the front still has the old style front with 4 LED lights and original microphone placement. Reminds me more of an SQ11. Video quality sucks compared to the older metal models. Although the color is better, it is way too zoomed, with jerkier video if not on a solid surface, and not even VHS quality.

i used mines here and there for over a year now! took it out on bike rides, driving my motorcycles, hiking, making random Videos for youtube clips and such. was well worth the moneys. i mastered the buttons and menus layouts in every mode. its not the best but it gets the job done! i usually carry around a power bank along side with it when needed on longer rides. id reccommend it if your on a Budget. i used it in Rain, snow, as a Dash cam at times when heading into town. only thing i never figured out was the wifi thing too connect it too devices wirelessly.
Hello, I cannot really recommend any cameras since I do not know the specifics of what you want to use your camera for, but my only tip is to look at user reviews with actual pictures from the camera. The seller's claims are often unreliable, and you can only trust user reviews.
Does anyone else have problems with this cam charging mine will not charge if the micro SD card is in its really strange as soon as I remove the SD card it starts charging.

TLDR: A camera that is slightly better than the camera from a 10 year old video game system is essentially useless, no matter what purpose you want to use the camera for.
