Hey :) I’m Christian Schaffer, and I’ve lived on the road full-time since May 2018. This journey began in 2013 when I left the corporate world to build my career as an outdoor adventure & travel photographer. After 14 months of SUV living - I bought the van I now call home. Van life enables me to experience and document the beauty of our natural world, while also having my home and office nearby. My hope is that by sharing my own personal highs and lows along this (sometimes) wild journey, you might be inspired to hit the road or spend more time outdoors. Hi, I just started watching your videos and am so inspired by the content. What type of camera do you use? I missed some of the info. trying to read the captioning and watch you. Thank you for your videos.
This video might not apply to everyone. First of all, camping issues are only apply in US. In Europe you are safe and, mostly, to camp overnight like everywhere as long you don't go against driving laws. If it's a parking spot you can camp. Second, it depends of you camper setup. 3rd most of campers have shower, lol So, as a conclusion, most of the problems are related to the fact that you live in US. I don't know how is on other parts of the world but, in Europe, most of that problems does not apply here.

Hey girl, I just came across your channel and I love it. You seem to have a really good perspective on life. I appreciate your financial videos. One thing I can’t help but mention is i highly recommend considering critical illness if you don’t have it already. You’ve mentioned a number of times that you don’t have health insurance, if something happens and you’re diagnosed with a critical illness (cancer etc), you will get a lump sum of money which will protect you. ❤
The police ruined the camping life for everyone, its the police department, they don't want anyone to enjoy paradise, almost everything everywhere is like that now, you have to really push north close to the Canadian border, theres places and the locals aren't such Tyrannical tyrant's.

I wanted to email you from your website but I think that's for business inquiries only... I'm desperate to know more about your color scheme. You've said the paint is called vanilla shake or vanilla milkshake? When I look at van tours, this is the one interior color scheme that I know would not trigger my depression, and in fact might honestly help it. How did you do the whitewashed-looking wood on the side panels of the bed area? How did you get that look for the ceiling? Anything you can tell me about getting your effects/colors going would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for that exact size/model of van and it is funny because when I see them empty, I can't imagine fitting everything I want in one but looking at yours built out, it seems like it has a lot of room. I really don't need a 'rolling house' set up but more of a 'rolling garage' for all my hobby gear such as a bike, E-bike, kayak, scuba gear including tanks, E-foil, wing foiling gear, kiteboarding gear, and a bunch of other things. I'm guessing you bought your van new and I wonder what the buildout ending up costing. The organization on that kit blows me away.

There a app call trucker path on there you can pull up parking place it made for truck on there you can pull up Wal-Mart an it will tell you if you can park over night or not
