I have tried putting it into bridge mode so many times through lan 1 and it just won’t do it. I’m scared to use lan all as I don’t want to not be able to switch it back. But I don’t think it’s applying the bridge mode. I have the same router as you.
for people who can't get this to work have you tried making a new folder and putting it inside the inbox folder? then have it move the msgs there instead of inbox which it won't let you do but you can put it in another folder or subfolder of inbox i think? I just did it but untested so we shall see.
Ive tried filters for other things and found filters do NOT work. Its a shame t Yahoo is such a poor email software. In gmail you can delete all spam messages with one click. In Yahoo u have to select all spam messages to delete and then Yahoo moves them all to trash a d then you have to select them all again and then delete them again. The autodelete settings for spam folder is 30 days. Wow who wants to keep spam messages for 30 days.
Thanks for the instructions, except enabling Bridge mode just kills the internet on my attached Netgear router, no matter what I do. So for now I've just disable Bridge mode and disabled the Telus router's firewalls
"Thank you so much for sharing this video! It was incredibly inspiring and informative. I appreciate the effort you put into creating such valuable content. Keep up the great work!" You solve a big problem for me
I go to a Timeshare that has WiFi. You have to log into the Timeshare webpage, enter a code and now you have WiFi. Just that device has WiFi, I am assuming it records your MAC address Does this Travel router let you do that?
Yes. All you need to do is before you log into your condos captive portal is make sure whatever device you use to log into the condos captive portal page is connected to the travel router first. Then put your information into the captive portal webpage via your device connected to the travel router and boom…your travel router gets internet access. Then you can connect other devices to your router as well. I have done this dozens of times.
This does not work for me. I can cast a browser tab, but not my computer screen. If I select "screen" from the options, Chrome ignores it and will only cast the browser. 😐
My VLC won’t play my Blu-ray copy with menu. I have to open each file but it’ll play my DVD copy of movies and tv shows. Am still gonna mess around with it to see if I can get it to work.
