You have given us hope ! The road is complete ! I am confident that the new CS of transport (who will be appointed ) will bring The President to commission the Dongo Kundu "By-Pass".
Thank you for showing my neighborhood. You were actually on the road i live on where the young Somali boys were playing football. I live there 6-7 months out of the year, the rest of the time I'm in the USA. Next time walk further down the road so I can see my house and neighbors. Great content my friend and God bless ❤️🙏
As a European in Kenya (coast) on and off for 13 years, have noticed one thing about reactions to videos and the videos about Kenya .... Africans and Kenyans are nearly entirely positive about what they see. Presumably because they know little about other places. And if someone dares point out flaws, justified or less justified, they get criticized, heckled and chastised no matter what. As the video maker, you better make sure that you praise and sugarcoat things, turn the blind eye to the obvious, r uh will get tons of unserious comments, refusing to deal with what you present but rather any, any kind of (constructive) criticism. Now let me give some constructive criticism here, whether you like it or not: Clean up your town! Tourists don't like to see dump sites everywhere. Nor do they enjoy the stench. At least do a minimum amount of maintenance on your buildings. A little paint works wonders. Have some pride! Stop differentiating prices between locals and tourists! It is immoral and indecent. And does cost you clients. The corruption within the police can be shocking to a mzungu. Africans seem to be quite okay with it. Police officers are usually rough and rude, totally unlike in Western countries. But Africans seem to expect it. The shockingly unstable supply of power can be a huge challenge for a mzungu. Africans know no otherwise. It does, of course, affect things as WiFi- unless yo are in a big hotel or apartment complex with the essentiel generator Some of the above points are not confined t Malindi but are Kenyan issues in general Other than that, Malindi is a bustling town with plenty of life .... until about 9 pm Big, wide beaches and occasional blue water. And usually quite lush.
True brother I've taken time to read this and I 100 per cent accept what you've just said. Most people tend to hate constructive critism. For instance, MOMBASA is really growing so fast but the centre of the town is really dirty, filled with un maintained buildings and old electric poles and wires.
Bad habits of most Africa they like to maintain things in good shape, those lights give them only one month after opening, of the road they be destroyed 😢😢
Very beautiful road but very disappointing to see even the roads markings have not been done, this are small jobs which Kenha can prioritise but they are sleeping on their job, nice video keep an eye 👁️ the date.
coast guys need to chill with this road, this road has always been destined for opening in July latest, the other deadlines were just fununu and the more you listen to them the more you as locals will be disappointed and start getting agitated. let the engineers finish up on testing those bridges and installing the road furniture of signs, markings and final tarmac layers. bure you will end up with a badly done road like the one entering mombasa through makupa bridge , i know you guys have been waiting for years and are excited to have a new road but don't trust these fake deadlines, one thing about the Japanese is that they complete projects ON TIME not earlier and not later, vile contract inasema ndio watafanya, they dont move like chinese sasa mtulie
I get that brother, but the truth is that it was even supposed to be done by last year but they keep on postponing. The contractors are doing what they can though and the road quality is good.
@@mosegeminitv i understand bro, but pls check again the contract requirements that the japanese were given and were signed, phase 3 was to be done by last year yes, which they actually completed last year kujenga hio barabara with only road furniture and final tarmac layer left ndio watu wasiitumie vibaya while they work on phase 2, but phase 2 which is more crucial to the project as it has those two main bridges was to be completed this year and full project handover was between may and august with july being the most likely month. contractors wako tu sawa and they are following agreed timelines, i know umeona those top politicians and senior Kenha officials all over the news wakisema some funny deadlines but that is political speak to give the masses something so that they can seem to be working and they can relieve pressure on them from the public, ata nimeona in the video that street lights za phase 3 zimewaka and it seems sasa wameanza road furniture ya phase 3, good thing is by the holiday season when mombasa tourism is peak you will be having a new shiny road for the great ppl of coast, Continue updating us Bro, good luck.
@plausiblethings6579 you might be right coz i once visited the sight early this month and one of the contractors told me that the road will be opened in three months time (August)..bt the truth is that it'll be opened in September 4th or there about when the president will be coming to open the Mombasa ASK show...Mimi hata nilishajiuzulu na kuvinjika morali..wafanye vile wanataka lakini mwisho watafunguwa tu hata kama ni mwaka ujao.
Voi women destroyed this town by bringing the uneducated Samboja as governor...imagine mtu anatoa soko town anaipeleka sijui wapi?Watu hawana tittle deeds pia,who will buy land there?
