Genius. Has it passed the redneck occasion in a vehicle that has to go off roading yet?😂 That's going to be the true test as you know there's going to be one hillbilly out there that tries it 😂
Finally bit the bullet and got a cake safe. I love it. Transported my first wedding cake in an hour of NYC traffic and potholes. Amazing. Cake was perfect.
How funny to see this. I used a giant cardboard box to secure a 4 tier wedding cake. Added a top inside container for dry ice. Got it to the wedding safe and sound in the middle of a heat wave.
Phew! So glad you made it safe and sound!! We're here for you if you want a reusable option. No need for ice or dry ice, the CakeSafe will keep a refrigerated cake cool for hours and hours.
@@CakeSafeLLC Thanks for the reply. Trust me, the dry ice was needed. It was an hour+ drive in some high temps, 104 degrees in the shade. It needed to stay cool in its own container, hours before it was presented at outdoor wedding. Yours cake safe is beautiful. Best of luck to you!
Believe it or not, that has happened! We've been in business for a long time now. Over the years we've heard from about 5 bakers who have been in serious car accidents or had to slam brakes on the highway because a deer ran out. We never thought a CakeSafe would protect a cake if it flipped over, but in each instance there has been zero or minimal damage. It's the cardboard cake boards (that all bakers use) between tiers that hugs onto the center rod causing it to be extremely stable in the CakeSafe.
Que genial idea, pero no deberían quitarle el centro ni la caja al pastel para que no se caiga tan fácil, porque siempre se cae el pastel antes de que los novios lo partan 😢
Yeah, and it’s $400 and $600 for 1. It’s not made for the general public mostly for big businesses. Plus it punches a hole all the way through your cake. So when you get where you’re going, you have to fix the hole.
Our best selling size for home bakers costs $199. If you compare 100 cake deliveries in a CakeSafe versus buying disposable cardboard cake boxes you'll save thousands of dollars by investing in the one CakeSafe. We build them to last decades. Also all tiered cakes have center dowels in them, we just designed the CakeSafe so the center dowel is attached to the insulated box to keep the cake safe. At the venue you'll remove the cake from the CakeSafe Box and smooth a tiny dab of buttercream over the small 3/8th inch hole. It totally disappears. Check out some of our other videos showing removing a cake from a CakeSafe. It takes less than 5 minutes to remove the cake and cover the hole -versus- not using a CakeSafe and having to deliver the tiered cake in separate cardboard boxes, taking multiple trips to the car and back once at the venue, stacking the tiers, and smoothing the seam between tiers. All this can take 30 minutes or more. Not to mention you're under a time crunch to do this before guests arrive, and the whole catering staff is watching you stack your cake. Talk about pressure!
The dictionary definition is "involving or causing a complete or dramatic change." We did this for the cake industry by invented the Cakesafe Box. Before the CakeSafe, bakers had to delivery their cakes in separate boxes and stack the entire cake at the venue in a time crunch before guests arrive. This limits the designs you can do on your cake as well as adds a lot of stress.
congratulations !!!!! i started watching you when i was in grade school and i'm in med school now! it's been more than 5 years and its so wonderful seeing how far you've come after all this time. as a med student and as a fellow violinist, i've always been inspired by how well you balance your job and your hobbies. being a doctor is a stressful, thankless job and i've always admired your constant kindness and patience. you're one of the reasons i pursued medicine and your content reminds me of all the good in this field. i still remember watching your videos when i was in school and vowing that when i become a doctor some day, i will try to treat my patients with as much care and empathy as you do 🩷
Okay-- and that's a great idea-- but you put a dowel in the cake to stabilize it. What happens when you deliver the cake & take out the ss rod? Do you replace it with a wooden one?
My sister uses these in her wedding cake business. Once she had to use them to transport her cats as she and her family packed up to leave because of an impending hurricane. 😊 Multi purpose!
