How To Put a Cake Inside A CakeSafe and Remove The Cake

You never want to freeze a cake before putting it in the cakesafe (or freeze a cake inside a cakesafe) unless it’s an extreme situation like driving across the country for a week. If you think you’ll have a situation like this, send us an email and we’ll give you our advice. When it comes to temperature, the only complaints we’ve had are from bakers who say their cakes were too cold when they got to the venue (you don’t want guests eating cold cake). You’ll refrigerate your cake overnight and put it in the CakeSafe before delivery. It will be kept cool for hours. If your delivery is less than 1 hour away, we suggest letting your cake sit at room temp for 15 minutes before placing it in the CakeSafe so it’ll not TOO cold at the venue.
