I’m Jeanne Henry and I was the steward of this Little Free Library while I lived at my home. However, I moved two years ago and the library is no longer located there. It was donated to the City of Bedford. They said they might be building a children’s park on the front lawn of the Old Bedford School, and they may use my library in the park!

Greetings from an American expatriate and language teacher in Taipei, Taiwan, where I teach (mostly) English as a Foreign Language and (sometimes) Spanish-retired Texas Licensed Court Interpreter, Spanish-English (Master designation). I think it rocks that you offer a TESOL Certificate, as it’s certainly enhancing the marketability of your grads. Can this be done in conjunction with your MATESOL, or only as a stand-alone option?
I believe they are "either or"--the MA TESOL or the grad certificate! But students working on another PhD or other Master's program can do the certificate in conjunction with their other degree! So the certificate can be combined with other grad programs and degrees!
Great Podcast, THANKS! As a science teacher who doesn't know all that much about this topic because it is new to me, I think of google as a "specific answer generator" and the AI (like ChatGPT) as a "specific idea generator". My students used GPT last week to come up with laboratory ideas they want to try in class. After many iterations, each team came up with with their own inquiry lab that was both solid (in terms of the nature of science) and different from the other teams. Next week should be interesting =)
Thank you for making this so clear to understand! I've watched this video a few times throughout the years whenever I need a refresher on these topics. Your explanations and examples are so clear! Thank you!
I just want to thank you for this treasure, not just a video for me. I'm a mother of an ADHD child and I'm a pharmacist living in Egypt. I shifted my career 5 years ago to an ESL instructor for YL as I refused that many people told me that my son will have dyslexia especially with English as it is not a phonetic language like Arabic. I studied hard synthetic phonics and every resource given to me in my academy. I work at Oxford English Academy teaching Show and Tell and Oxford Discover curriculum. I can't thank you enough for these blocks that made everything clear to me.
The broad consensus for English is and has been 44 sounds (more or less). If you think there are more than 44 sounds as you state, please state how many sounds there are and provide a source to cite it. Thanks! :)
For those who are not familiar with your use of terminology, sitting and reading from a teleprompter is not teaching. What works best are examples via. visuals .This video is more less useless🥺
Thank you for your feedback and for what you do for children. I made this video eight years ago and it was just meant to be a short overview. People do listen to podcasts with no visuals whatsoever. Also this video has 27,000 views which means 27,000 people watched it. There’s always room for improvement but this was not intended to have examples or visuals when I made it. I have plenty of other videos that use a wide variety of teaching! Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@peggysemingson hello. I appreciate your compliment because I try really hard to keep improving, and yet, just like you I constantly need to improve that is why I deeply appreciate constructive criticism. You are absolutely correct, “ there’s always room for improvement “ that is the reason for my constructive feedback to. I had written my comments before I read the other comments which pretty much are echoing what I’ve said. Those who are ok with mediocrity will let the video sit for 8 years because it has accumulated 27,000 views with less than 1 % likes instead of redoing it better. Just as I have done , many others might find the title enticing only to find the content disappointing… I’m just saying 🤷🏾♀️
