That was stupid! Once you start pulling off wraps we can forget the glue test. You have to do them all on the same substraight bonehead. You used some arrows without wraps and some with wraps. What a waste of my time.

#1. PATENT INFRINGEMENT ONLY APPLIES TO PRODUCTS YOU MANUFACTURE TO SELL TO THE PUBLIC. IT HAS NEVER BEEN PATENT INFRINGEMENT TO LOOK UP A PATENT ONLINE, AND MAKE 10 OF THE EXACT SAME ITEMS FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE!!! DONT BELIEVE ME? ASK A PATENT LAWYER!!!! #2. it would be COPY RIGHT INFRINGEMENT TO USE THE NAME OF A PRODUCT IF THEY HAD PUBLISHED THE NAME OR USED THE NAME TO ADVERTISE THEIR PRODUCT. COCA COLA, PEPSI COLA, CHEVROLET, FORD, ETC... HARLEY DAVIDSON SUED INMATES AT FOX LAKE PRISON IN WISCONSIN FOR WOOD BURNING THE HARLEY EMBLEM INTO WOODEN PLAQUES THAT THE SOLD INSIDE THE PRISON! THIS WAS IN 1991 IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY!! I HAVE A COPY OF THE PATENT, THAT WAS PATENTED BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT FOR "THE CURE FOR AIDS"!! I DOWNLOADED IT FROM THE PATENT OFFICE WEBSITE OVER 20 YEARS AGO!!!

I used the bohning in tube once on my carbon arrows back in 2014. The nap quick spin fletchings dry rotted before the glue gave out. Just reflected my arrows tonight with blazer 2" used the g5 blue. Think the glue is going to either going to get used on anything else I can think of or dry out before I got to reflect again. Lol. Glad to see your test on how it held up

This is old video. But just to help others with this. You can use castration rings for the pivot point. They will last years.
@tedwright1380
@tedwright1380 8 месяцев назад
I made a set with the castration rings. Very easy to do. Pole price much higher in "23" but still a bargain compared to China sticks! BUT!!! This set up is not as stable as you would think! ( It's better than Offhand a little bit) the poles are very flexible. Using them with an air-rifle which has a much longer barrel dwell time is still a challenge when the kill zone is 1 inch or less.

Found your videos extremely helpful. Enjoyed that there was no distracting background music for starters and that you took the time to explain every step and made it easy to understand. I created my first wrist sling after watching your videos and really enjoy using it, working on one for my husband now and needed a "refresher" course so I have watched the series of 3 over again. For those who think this information should be "classified", they should just scroll on by. Last I checked it was still a free country.

Nice target. I'm going to do something similar for a moose target. Just in case no one has passed this on to you yet... You can take a photo from the web (like you did), cut and paste it into your software (Publisher, for example), then print it out in tiles. You specify the dimensions, and it will print multiple sheets of paper to be pieced together like a puzzle, to achieve those dimensions. Assemble and fix them on your background, then cut or paint as you choose, then dispose of them. No tracing necessary. I've also projected an image onto my background and then painted using the projection as a color guide. I have made bear and deer targets that way. Works great.

I am wanting to know how much you spent to make this blind versus the cost to purchase the blind? Could you please inform us the cost of the build please

Honestly, the price for the commercial product, for what it is, is ridiculous even though it's a great idea. I was thinking of using corrugated plastic cardboard. I don't begrudge anyone for wanting to make a profit, but damn. They'd likely sell a lot more at a lower price.

I think corrugated plastic would work better -You wouldn't have to paint it -It would have a serious weight advantage -Cheaper to construct -And significantly quieter

Cool thanks for sharing this project with us. Only one suggestion I think you need to fold the Casper blind so the mirror side is inside wend folded. This way your not sending a signal that you are coming. I believe I will build one for next year. But mine will be a Spooky Blind..

If you don't like fetching arrows then you should read where Bohning says not to do anything to the vanes because they come prepped and ready for how they were designed and intended to be installed.

My only question is why use heavy, expensive plexi? The product, (Gila window film) will work mounted onto light plastic hollow core boards, or even ridgid foam insulating board.

I know this is an old video, but there was no mention of curing time - which is 48 hours for Fletch-Tite. So I'm not sure the test accurately showed how well FT can work if allowed to cure properly. Not saying it's better, but it's a lot easier to use and I get good results with it.

Lowe's has a hefty price on a sheet of 1/4" plexi glass. OPTIX brand at Lowes is $230.00. self adhesive film is around $3.00 per sq\ft. Adding hardware and paint brings the price to the same as the actual "Casper" blind. Unless you have plexiglass laying around it seems that you're better off getting one already made. Edit: Nice job. Doesn't look "thrown" together.

First I thought this was stupid, but after watching all those other complicated vlogs of making gun mounts this is by far the easiest and best way for the same rifle support you need.
