My name is Joe. I am a Husband, a Father, and I recently moved my family from Florida to Arkansas! Join me as I (attempt to) fish for Largemouth Bass, Small mouth Bass, Northern Snakehead, Crappie, Bluegill, and anything else I can get to bite in my new environment! So many new (to me) species to fish for!
Along the way I mix in some: *Gear reviews *Techniques *Hand poured lead jigs *Unboxings *Collaborations
And whatever else I can think of! Fishing is one of my favorite things do to and the best ways I know to unwind.
Been looking forward to this brother! Turtles never fun to catch. Always gotta set it just in case 😉 Dink catfish 😂 Nice 2nd one! You really started to get into some. Cool to see you guys getting together again Joe. Heading over to watch Buck’s version 😉
Was fun watching you guys out there! Pretty hot though! Would definitely like to see some of those cooked up. Thanks for sharing this buddy! You were puttin the hammer down out there!
Man that look like a great time some nice kitty cats. I can see that sun looked brutal. It's right over your head the whole time. Anyway awesome collaboration with Buck👊
Thanks Mike! If I was alone, it would have been a little on the boring side. But all the conversations and trash talk between Buck and I, the day passed pretty quick. It was the sun that finally did us in. Felt like Dundee in the outback. BLAZING sun!
It just took a little time, Haha. You've got a good meal coming up with those Channel Cats, but when I'm Bass fishing and catch Catfish, I call them Whiskered Bass, Hahaha.
When I catch them while bass fishing I usually use different words LOL Had a nice meal with the family this evening in fact, with another meal worth in the freezer. Thanks as always bud!
Great video Joe! Glad to see you out there catching some fish. What were you using for bait? It's probably over 10 years since I went catfishing. I was finally able to get out this week and catch some bass. Ended up with 4, the biggest being around 3lbs or so. Nothing record breaking, but really fun.
Hey man they don't have to be big to be fun to catch. Glad to hear you got out and on them! We were using chicken breasts. It was a slow day. Several other people were out and having about the same amount of luck as we did. It was great to hang with Buck and relax a bit tho. Hasn't quite been 10 years for me, but it's been a while. Before my channel existed at least.
@@ParabellumFishing , I never tried chicken breast. The few times I went I used chicken livers. I bet the breast meat stays on the hook a lot better. I see people around here using hotdogs soaked in jello powder or cut bluegill. How is Arkansas treating you?
@@Paul_T843 Chicken breast is what Buck recommended. I’ve actually used the hotdog/jello thing with decent results. So far man I got no complaints. Already landed some decent bass and now a fun day of catfishing. I think im going to try wading the river this week. That will be a very new experience for me. Wade in Florida, lose a leg lol
Great to see you out fishing and what a nice haul. Went from fish fingers to a full on dinner for the family :) Hope you guys had a good time out there and look forward to the cooking part. Loved the setup with the camera too, actually going to look for one when I get done here. Awesome job Joe!!!!
@@SHELLGANGFISHING They have a chart on their website. I looked it up and the Revo is listed, but not the vengeance. Here is a link to the chart. Abu is on page 6. Hope this helps! 👊🏻 cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0024/6739/7731/files/Gomexus_Reel_Handle_8x5_mm_Fitment_Table.pdf?v=1618191770
I bought this same Yak used, but it doesn’t have the seat. They said it flew of the back of the truck. I can’t find a replacement one……any suggestions??
@@user-cs3jn9ui4x Hmm. Did you contact lifetime directly? I would think they could put you on track. Otherwise, I know bass pro sells seats with the same tubular base design as the lifetime, but I’m not sure if they match up. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Good luck!
@@ParabellumFishing , it's been too hot to even try. The last thing I caught was a small bluegill a few weeks ago. Glad to hear your trip went well. I'm hoping to get out sometime this week and give it a shot.
@@DevilsUp589 I swapped the bungees after I cut the holes for the dry hatches. That gave me a lot more access to where the bungees go. I tied some chunky knots on the end and fed them from the inside of the hull. Still going strong
@@ParabellumFishing It is ok. I find the front and back hooks constantly get snagged on each other or the front hooks get caught on the line. I am going to try some suggested mods on it such a smaller front hooks and a weight dot to have it dive down deeper.
I just checked amazon and it’s not currently available. But here is the link anyway. Maybe it’ll come back in stock soon? GanFindX High-Strength Stainless Steel Sit on Top Kayak Cart with Flat-Free Wheels,Suitable for Plug Holes, Quick to Install & 110 Kg/250 Lb Strong Load Capacity
Looks like the link didn’t work. The link is in the description of this video. Hopefully this link works. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-acfZ7YJ7FvY.htmlsi=xaPQJLSHogGirlJN
I was coming to check on you and I see I missed this video from 11 days ago. Glad you made it to Arkansas safely and I'm happy you're getting back to fishing. No skunk, and that's a good thing. Hope to see you catching some big bass soon on those cranks that you can finally use.
Inexperienced people buying gear don't give good reviews. Experienced people who are are expecting too much and /or gear snobs . There's not a damn thing wrong with particular reel. I got it at a really good price at 50% off and I needed the size for a particular rod. It's smooth and but well. I might go back tomorrow and get another.
@@ParabellumFishing inexperienced anglers will complain about stuff like ....the bail will not slam shut automatically. Heck , I learned to manually close a bail years ago. I can't stand to hear one clang over.
@@davidarwood6264 I hear ya! I slammed one shut when I was a kid and my father immediately corrected me. Made it a habit of manually closing the bail ever since
