Only one thing I missed that this pedal had is the ability to automatically sustain the sound to have the possibility of using it as an auto swell volume
Paired the King of Kings dual overdrive pedal with a vintage seventies tube amp, the Evan Bass 60. Made in Italy, this combo is pure bliss! Check out the video on my channel.
Following your 4-cable method setup, I assume the stereo effects is forced into mono, unless I am using an amp pedal with stereo in/out. Is that correct?
Is there a way to configure a footswitch to be able to change the boards without having to bend down or having to triple hit the first knob? sometimes in the middle of the show it is uncomfortable and slow
I've been considering the Plethora 5X for my rig...I have a recently acquired RJM PBC/6X loop switcher and Friedman IR-X preamp pedal essentially functioning as my amp. I'll be using a fuzz and a couple of other dirt pedals in the PBC loops, and have been considering a multi effect unit for modulation, delay, reverb, compressor, etc, and controlling the with PBC's midi. Would the Plethora work well in this setup? Would it be in a loop of the PBC, or just connected by midi? Or is it not really a viable option?
I've learned so much about this pedal from your videos! One thing I can't seem to find anywhere is if I can do a sweep effect using an expression pedal. I've tried doing opposite eq on A and B and they aren't linked. I have the expression pedal set to B 0-100 but whenever I use the pedal it still acts like a level for both. I want A eq-ed as a lo fi all mids sound and B to be the opposite so when I crank the expression pedal it becomes my normal tone. Any idea if this is achievable and if so, how? Thanks for all the information around this pedal.
Love your videos. Thank you. I find it frustrating that I can’t build a pedalboard within the app. Lots of bending down and fiddling that could be avoided. But the functionality of the plethora is incredible and I’m loving it. Thanks for your explanations. Best out there for plethora by far.
... yeah, would be awesome to have a parallel path. That's been on the user request list since release, but no word on if it's going to be implemented. 😕
Good Demo. Better than many others. Still can be improved. Instead of noodling just make chords. Take a breath. Very exhausted by so many notes. Also use a Humbucker Guitar next time.
Hey man great video!!! Just a question. Using a midi controller to switch between different presets is there any drop out in sound or the switch happens instantly? Thank you! 👍
I put my plethora x3 thru the effects loop of my amp. When i activate true bypass mode, my signal becomes louder with the pedal off, but as soon as i turn on an effect the volume drops by a lot. Is this normal for true bypass with this unit? Is there a way to fix this problem so the levels stay the same, or is that the purpose of the buffer mode?
Great video. I have an X5 arriving tomorrow. I’m using a UA LION and an FRFR power cab and pondering whether to put guitar throdrive, then LION then input of x5 with perhaps my El Capistan and Clouburst in insert or fx loop or guitar into X5 then all pedals in insert loop ( including LION) then straight out of X5 to Laney power cab. Welcome any thoughts and looking forward to experimenting! 🎉
Just bought this , a lil bday present to me , from me 😉 yea it’s pretty cool !! I also got myself the fender pugulist distortion and they sound rad together!!!
Great video! Just got mine, it's a used one. Question... in edit mode, when I try to change the tempo of the delay, it still shows the tempo in ms, then after switch back to play mode, it shows in bpm. Is there any way to change to bpm in the edit mode? Thank you very much!
@@PedalPlatform You’re very welcome! Thank you for replying so quickly! That’s unfortunately, one of the big reasons I bought this pedal is I’d love to see the bpm when I setup the delay tempo, I won a Flashback X4 and I love the sound!
Yeah, that's basically the only way it'll show bpm. It's a bit of a pain, but let's make some noise and hope they include it in a possible future firmware update. 😁
Can I program a boost after the delay that increases the overall volume of the guitar signal. I’d like to use that along with the delay for a soloing effect. A one stomp boost and delay effect for a solo if you will.
It has been years since this video. Has TonePrint sharing been realised yet? At the very least TC could devise a way to export a TonePrint as a file that can be manually uploaded or sent or to another user who will then import the file into their TonePrint software.
