I can hear him ringing from my little home out in the wilds of Holme Pierpont by the River Trent, the deep sounds boom across rhe water beautifilly and are a sonic timepiece. ⏰🕰️
until her death in 2006 this was also the home tower of the famous pam Copson (of Sherbourne teaching aid fame), not only was she tower captain for a good number of years but until the creation of art in 2012 her "one per learner books" where standard fare in many towers up and down the country.
I had a look around these last night. The entry into the belfry is definitely interesting. They’re still in great shape but there are question marks around the tower at the moment. We had a quick ring - they’re beautiful bells!
