I have a question. Why do you think that we find more Spanish silver than British silver? I rarely see anyone here finding Brit. silver...P.S. 1st silver coin I ever found was a 1545 1real from Mexico City. Holed and in great shape! Wild 470 years old. First silver coin ever minted in North America. Priceless to me

That's awesome. I dug that same type. I didn't even know I had it until I got home and cleaned it. I was hunting a 1850s cellar hole (or so I thought), so it never occurred to me that it was a button cause the shank was missing and I saw nothing on it when I dug it.
please tell me you guys reported these items to the rhode island historical society or the state archives?? the naval button and guard might be important for their records
I too have been attacked by ticks on several occasions in the woods of PA, fortunately I haven't contracted lyme. Lately I have been using repellent that contains 100% deet and it seems to be working well. I haven't found any of the little buggers on me as of late. I hope you can recover from the lyme disease , I do like watching your video's, GL HH and stay well.
This video helped us so much! Our entire town (Bristol R.I.) is historic. All of the houses have remained the same since the late 17 to early 1800's billions of iron signals and coal hot rocks. I guess this is why we dig them all. Hunt happy ,subbed

Glad your back! I was just watching a couple Old videos the other day. You will get much better my Uncle was the same way 12 years ago and once he got it under control he’s been fine for years
Thanks Mark, my fear is that I think I had it a long time, my 1st test came in negative, so i felt that was impossible. had to demand a second test(different test) and it cam back positive
thiltzy1 same thing happened to him. Multiple tests were negative. He went to a doctor named dr. Sabovic he specializes in Lyme . He’s in Fairfield CT I think. That guy saved him. Good luck
I feel for you. I went home to Martha's Vineyard for my niece's funeral, and asked to hunt the PA clubs property for a mind break. Got a tick and got Lyme and boy does it suck. Take care my friend.
I'm sorry to hear you got so sick. I always loved your videos. I own colonial property in NC. Watching you hunt was one reason I started, i have not found anything good to date. I pray you get strong and can get back to doing the things you love.

I got Treated for Lyme disease a few years ago, thank god for doxycycline! And catching it early, it took months for me to get over. Hang in there!!My dog had it too, so if you have a dog get them checked.
