@@rfoliente1 Thank You 🙏 The speaker cable conversation aside…I don’t feel the need for a sub for over 80% of the music I listen to. However, for complex classical and electronic music a properly integrated sub would benefit. Still working on the integration 😊
What no Subwoofer lacking bass big time 😂😂😂 JK amazing speaker i wish i could have a pair or even continue paradigm 120H are good enough for me or kef LS 60 .... Hopefully someday I can get them before I die 😢
Haha this is great... and zooming out its funny to think about what most non-audiophile people would think about carpet rolling.. or fuse rolling for that matter
I did not feel the need for a sub? However due to complex impedence they present you will need an amp with plenty of drive and control to get the most out of them IME. The 10 inch woofers have plenty of grunt when driven properly.
I wish I could hear this through tubes. In no way perfect comparison for all the reason we understand. Nonetheless, this sonically similar track sounds alive, wet, agile. The Nina masterpiece by comparison sounds more granular and dry and veiled. To me at least. Your mileage may vary. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tbB1_UMCb1o.htmlsi=E4TANUJUuDDhp9Vq
Fabulous fidelity from Both of them! In THIS rarefied stratosphere, it really is down to personal taste, and preference. Karan’s transient composure, personally seals it for me, ALTHOUGH, The Gryphon’s cohesion, and incredible SOUNDstaging mark this comparo, a very tough, TOUGH call. An ultra-true tribute to UNcompromising World Class Engineering Excellence. Many congratulations to both of them. And an EDIT: These are what I love calling: Set, and Forget, Mountain Summit Stereo Systems that are at once, Drop-Dead Super Gorgeous seeing them play The World’s Greatest Performances!
@@DynamicAudioA great pleasure. What remains is the engineering challenge in designing the nigh-perfect listening room… not quite bank-vault dead, but close and with amps, and sources in a totally separate room, the spectre of microphonics is dealt with for even closer high-definition.
What do you think about Stenheim tree for smaller room (4m x 5m), won't they be too big? I saw that the Stenheim two.five version was released, I'm considering speakers for a small room.
I think either the Alumine Two.Five or Alumine 3's should would very well in your room. I would hesitate to go bigger than this. I have listened to the Three in similar sized room as yours and they sounded very good.
@@DynamicAudio Great news this morning. I will probably choose Stenheim tree. My main system is Marten Mingus, now I'm looking for something else for the second room. I'm still considering Wilson Benesch. Thanks and greetings from Poland.

This is a live recording...so the venue reverb does come into the recording. I don't recall hearing any ringing when listening in room. Thanks for your comments.
I've tried this mic and overall I would say it is not bad but.... It doesn't pick up the bass properly - especially the low end but it also attenuates lower mid-bass as well... I think 135 degrees mode represents better soundstage in my room minus shortcomings I described above...
Thank You 🙏 Interesting you mention that. I also found the bass is a smidgen leaner with this microphone...compared to the inbuilt iPhone microphone. However, the unintended consequence of this is that with large diaphragm headphones the shure MV88+ is able to keep the bass intact at loud listening levels. The iPhone recording can sometimes (depending on the track) saturate the headphone at louder volumes...hence the note in all of my videos to Adjust the volume 😊 The 90 degrees seems to capture the bass and the tonal density a bit better...whereas the 135 degrees captures the soundstage more accurately from the listening position.
@@DynamicAudio In my experience it seems quite difficult task to find a "perfect" mic, especially in this price range... As per phone as a recording device - I think it would be a quite good option if there was a possibility to turn off it's automatic volume adjusting...
@@adzajcom I don't believe there is a way to turn off automatic volume settings on the iPhone. However, it does have the settings to personalise spatial audio for the shape of your ears! I haven't experimented with this though.
Firstly the video was taken with an Iphone 13 - not professional recording equipment; and under show conditions. Also were you listening with headphones? And have you heard the Figaro Mk2 speakers in person, or only on YT? I was at this show and don't agree with your assessment. That said, personally I'd pair those speakers with a Vitus SIA-025Mk2 and either the SCD-025Mk2 or SD-025Mk2 dac for best synergy.
@@crazyprayingmantis5596 Show conditions are notoriously difficult, so you have to make allowances for that. Then it depends on the YT settings the poster used to upload the video. But to then attempt to accurately capture the sound of a room with an Iphone 13 is even more fraught. But even then all you're hearing is a good recording of system in a typically poor sounding hotel room. Exhibitors attempt to address the poor a/c power and room acoustics using a power conditioner or autoformer and room treatments, but the limitations of the rooms are largely out of their control.
@@johngian1961 The Exhibitor told me when I visited the room that that pair of speakers had just arrived before the show, and were running in during the show. Still I thought they managed to sound very good straight out of the box.
Dipole-radiating speakers need to be brought well out into the room to get good soundstage depth, and ideally need an even front wall which is not possible in many real world situations. Re: this video, bare in mind you're listening to a recording taken on an Iphone 13 in a hotel room under show conditions. And this pair of speakers were literally uncrated at the show and were still running in.
