I first got into gaming way back in 2001 with Halo: CE. It was during this time that I realized I love playing against other players and practicing to get better. This continued throughout the Halo series until Halo 5 ( I can't wait for Halo Infinite). I then transitioned to Destiny. I enjoy Destiny for its Halo like feel along with the depth that grinding for weapons and gear. Because of this history, I love taking the things I learn and spreading that to others so they can also improve. I'm always open to discussing ways to get better as well as ways a game can be improved. My ultimate goal on RU-vid is to provide a welcoming community where likeminded people can come to discuss the games we are passionate about.
Here I am almost a year later from the release of this video laughing on just how “broken” it is 😂 content creators love to use that word. And btw, it only got disabled that one time due to the almost invincibility interaction with glaives (thanks to Aztecross) but other than that, still the same move. The move is NOT broken. It’s strong when used correctly. Other than DR and potential zone caps, this move has 0 use whatsoever. Can’t even res ya dam teammate 😂
Which elemental affect do you personally think is the best? I feel like void is fun and can be useful sometimes but when compared to things like jolt/ignition/freeze, volatile is underwhelming. Something I've been wanting for a long time is for volatile to work similar to scorch>ignition.. after so many suppression stacks you can make a target volatile and spread that to other targets with bloom.
Prismatic was only better because of the void devour aspect. A warlock void subclass is still a good synergistic built with childs and overshield, procing repulsor and destabilizing including ability kills and cooldowns.
I just find the "range" of 120s even with Igneous to be barely, BARELY better than 140s, no matter what anyone says. They crit now for 90 and 140s crit for less, but 140s just feel like they kill quicker and the barely-better range of 120s plus slower RoF just means you lose more fights as people run away easier vs 120s.
Any build that uses Dawn Chorus has a better alternative Honestly the same thing can be said for Lunas Howl. Although this one is more personal preference, imo Lunas really just cant compete with Zoulis bane in PvE. Even Epochal Integration feels waaaay better than lunas howl, so it should really be a last resort for solar hand cannons. Idk maybe other people like it, but it really just hits like a pea shooter in any content that isn't on level
You are right.. I don’t understand why streamers hype Lunas howl so much. I have subsistence incan and heal clip incan roll with reload 5/5 roll basically but still it feels so weak compared to zauli; I think EP makes a huge difference
If you have a sniper with osmosis in the kinetic slot you can make your sniper solar to benefit from the seasonal mod for solar scorching on solar sniper precision hits
Im thinking of maybe running ember of blistering over ember of singeing for grenade recharge (maybe with incendiary grenade even) and then eye of another world so that my phoenix dive is still about fast up enough again to cycle hellions. I personally dont really see dawn chorus value here apart from the melee recharge since dawn chorus doesnt effect ignitions whatsoever which id want to focus on entirely. Overall i love the build tho, cant go wrong with chaining ignitions and watching whole rooms blow up
the snap causes faster ignitions, so its more focused on i think, however i think this build would benefit with ember of benevolence for the big ignition one, and i beleive it should be used with heat rises instead of touch of flame, to fully lean into melee regen and have melees constantly
Focusing on snap is very interesting, seeing as it can ignite by itself at close range. I wouldnt want to run the build in end game content with a melee focus probably due to the lack of healing, id instead focus on grenades, solar snipers and hellion to ignite enemies from far away. For lower level content, the melee focus seems very fun and most likely better though. As for ember of benevolence, how are you planning on triggering it? Unless you run like a support frame auto rifle the only way to proc it is with phoenix dive or a rift and im not sure if its worth a fragment slot at that point.
@@DeontologicalMalaise could be placebo copium on my end but in theory it SHOULD cause SoF to proc chain reaction ignitions due to SoF providing scorch on Solar weapons. Think like how Threadlings on a Slice/Hatchling weapon can spread Sever/Unravel Again, this could entirely be bullshit from my end, I don’t know for sure 💀 I just wanna justify the use of the only heavy Solar Caster (AFAIK) in the game for double sword shenanigans 😂
Hey all! Slight error in the video. Incendiary rounds only works with solar sniper. So swap in a solar sniper like ikelos if you have one. But overall build will still fry! Apologies!
@@Apathettic yeah, but honestly if you’re already scorching with hellion, and everything else in the build its probably fine. I have a succession that has demolitionist and recombination, and demolitionist works nicely with song of flame, because when you throw the bird/grenade it reloads demolitionist weapons so i can keep firing the sniper. It’s pretty neat
Love song of flame but the only problem i dont like is u make your allies radiant..well everything makes your allies radiant it should be used more as a well to keep restoration active
Tbh it takes less than 20 minutes to do the mission which is a guaranteed drop… or loot chests which are 1 after every 50 you open so it can take 30 minutes to get one randomly… so 20 minutes or 30 it’s up to you but most definitely does not take all day.
Why not just use spirit of osmomancy and spirit of verity? You get the huge increase in nade dmg plus the osmomancy return along with devour grenade return!
Okay. I tried this build last night after watching the video and initially I was like, “Eh. It’s alright, I guess.” Next thing I know, 6 hours went by. Once you get the loop of this build, it legitimately COOKS
Nah, you need to try a Necrotic and Synthisteps roll. Using that combo with the arc slide melee aspect and the strand needle melee is insane. You basically get three charges of an ad clearing nuke every time you pop song of flame or transcendence, and every time you use it, it procs the melee dmg increase from synthisteps.
