If you want to boost your neutral game with this, instead of the super, get a solipsism with spirit of inmost light, and spirit of the swarm, change out armor mods for ability regen and you will have abilities very frequently due to each arcane needle thrown triggering spirit of inmost, if you cycle your abilities well, you can have abilities crazy often.
tips for song of flame and general build stuff: - make sure to have powered melee and unpowered melee bound to seperate buttons, this means that you also can't run auto melee but this is for good reason. Especially on incinerator snap you want to use it close range and if you do that with auto melee it will just make you do the unpowered melee instead of using the ability - always pop transcendence before using your roaming super. You get damage resist and 10% more damage on your super while transcendent and getting kills with your super refunds transcendent energy so that you'll still have transcendent after coming out of your super - use the firepower mod if you're using song of flame (the little bird you throw out counts as a grenade and can create multiple firepower orbs in a single use if you run 3 of them)
You do not get any super damage or ability damage increase while in Transcendence. You only receive a 5% WEAPON damage buff. The buff to abilities is a regeneration buff of 10%, with an additional 35% buff to regeneration for your melee after using your grenade and your grenade after using your melee. The damage resist is also 20%, but Song of Flame already has built in 90% damage resistance, so there is no need for the transcendence resistance buff (as you can never have 100% resistance, it only stacks in multiplicative amounts not additive amounts, so you'd just be wasting it). Like Moneytopz4001 says, you also can't utilize the most important part of spirit of apotheosis if you come out of super while transcendent, as it will only give the regular regeneration rate I listed above, not the apotheosis one. So, to maximize damage and ability usages, DO NOT pop transcendence before using your super. Pop it AFTER the apotheosis buff goes away after you have used your super. This ensures more ability uptime than normal and the weapon damage buff for when you're weaving in shots between the ability spam.
i have both, and think inmost is better than apotheosis. your neutral game is strong, and you have a great super. if you go apotheosis veil, you often kill everything with your super and have no one to throw your grenades at
Hear me out... inmost light/swarm Feed the void/weavers call Storm grenade, arcane needle, Phoenix dive. The facet that makes arc grenades jolt. Weapon with hatchling It was the first class item I got so I was kinda stuck with it at first but I keep going back to it because there are threadlings EVERYWHERE and it's a lot of fun because with inmost light, your abilities are up almost all the time
Yeah I think apotheosis is great but, I'm looking at it as a way to quickly top up on arcane needle charges. Inmost light would probably do the same and more consistently
try using osmio + stareater and then swapping to stareater + apothe before using your super, makes the gameplay loop even better, that's what i've been using and it feels so good, the feast of light stacks stay even though they're different exotic class items since stareater persists
@@Dorian-101 i believe by using a weapon matching your super kills will give you super energy super fast. And then you can pop your super all the time and after your super ends you get unlimited grenades and melee's for so many seconds so you see how them would work great together
Ive been using the crown of tempest build lately, but I have an apoth/stareater class item, might have to give it a shot. Ive tried other builds and it always felt abilities came back slower than the crown build
I heavily disagree with microcosm as the exotic weapon for this. Apotheosis is already such a low uptime exotic perk that having a second "When super ends" effect is basically wasting either the microcosm buff timer, or spirit of apotheosis. You're either spamming your abilities for those 10s, or you're shooting. It's mutually exclusive. By taking advantage of one, you're losing time on the other. I think an alternate exotic that would pair nicely would be dragon's breath for the heavy slot, since song and hellion should pair well with it, or if you want synergy, wavesplitter is still underrated, and benefits from *Orbmaxxing* along with stareater's.
@@christopherjackson9741it's free full healing and grenades why wouldn't you run it. I've got a class item with secant filament perk for devour on empowering rift cast so I don't have to use feed the void and it just feels so much worse
