I am a student of the outdoors and have been for over 35 years. On this channel I will be showing different ways of obtaining food, building shelter, starting fires, purifying water and a lot of other how-to videos. There are many times a year that I will go out and train these techniques and will be posting here. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

It’s running through way too fast to be effective; at the bottom you should just have a drip, a whole lot more charcoal needs to be used, extremely fine powder an inch of sand is fine. No grass is needed.

They say you can use some vines and branches to filter water. You use it like a hoes from a water jug high up and run it to a jug lower than it. It takes a little bit for it to soak through it, but it comes out clean. MIT figured it out.

Great learning tool to us jic, seen another guy use branches to filter water, from one container to another container, used a string to bend them too, then put a cloth around the branches that were gong into the glass container to keep out things from the air and the tree above. it was drinkable too! :)

This was the most informative demonstration of how to filter filthy water, then make it safe for consumption I've seen.

I approve 100% what this man explains here. In many african villages, we collect water from wells and it's absolutely purified and has great taste.

If God made man on the 6th and woman later and if she was sergicly removed from man.who is clearly made from dust.she has to be a superior mode l of us.then a man can 😅rest on the 7th got it😅

Fresh fruits are the best way to get your hydration when water is scarce. I foind when all I ate was raw fruits and veggies, of course nuts and seeds too , I was less thirsty or not at all. thirsty

Another 2 liter filled with fine charcoal placed directly under that pre filter will take out heavy metals and bacteria, but a rolling boil will guarantee safety..

isnt charcole the most important part of that filter? crushed charcole would be what makes most of our filters nowadays.
