What are you thoughts on using it for HRT replacement? I'm a 54 yr old in post menopause, but have all my female organs and want to keep them health. Plus I want to feel good. I have found that taking oral progesterone makes me gain weight rapidly. Any suggestions?
I have every single symptom of hashimoto's disease, and just like you said, I have positive antibodies but my other labs are normal, but am I just supposed to live with the exhaustion, hair loss, irritability and depression, the gosh darn rash that I've had for the last 6 months, random low blood sugar attacks, joint pain, cold intolerance, etc? Like it's EVERY SINGLE SYMPTOM, but my labs are "normal" 🙄
Ig mine wasn’t so painful due to me getting it after having a baby my body was still stretched and it wasn’t painful at all for me just a slight pressure didn’t hurt as much as those contractions I was having so for everyone the insertion feeling will defer 😅now the removal might feel a lil intense after the SnapBack of having a baby
When i got mine inserted it was a piece of cake... The removal, however.... Wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. Also i wasn't shown the iud after it was removed, but that could be bc i had a severe panic attack. 🤷
Last year i struggled with bv. I had it 4 times. All year long! I would go to th3 doctor's get put on antibiotics would go away then comw back within 2 or 3 month's and it was all over again get put on mlre antibiotics it was a cycle and i decided to juat stop. It wasnt healthy for me to be on antibiotics all the time. I started using probiotics, which helped with my ph balance, i wasn't getting the discharge, but would still get the odor here and there. It was a struggle. Then i noticed i would only get it in certain environments, which was so weird. Then it just stopped, but now i just got it again and am thinking about it. Now im wondering if its my diet. Definitely has been a struggle that came out of nowhere for me.
After having one shot of depo from February. I decided to get on the bc patch to regulate my cycles. On Sunday 03/31 will be my 4 week which Means no patch so hopefully my cycle will start it'll be the first time. So far no cycle yet. Hopefully it'll start this week.
I got the mirena iud a month ago and I thought I was getting the copper one. I didn’t know it was the mirena one until they gave me the paper. I am currently breastfeeding and my supply was really good but after a month of my iud I can barely get an ounce and it’s so frustrating. 😭😭😭😭😭
I love this method personally. I actually had birth control take away my periods for 6 years after stopping it(due to several issues) and started drinking fertility tea to regulate my hormones because in my head it wouldnt hurt anything and was affordable. After 3 months of drinking it I got consistent 28 day cycles and started this method. Idk scientifically if fertility tea is proven to work but my hormones did regulate after drinking it so in the least it didnt hurt. My favorite part of it is picking and choosing when you want to have a baby or avoid it without any hormonal birth control interfering with that process. I think its actually easy once you figure out your own body but it does require you to pay attention every day. My younger sister wanted to try it but she is not at all consistent about anything and very scatter brained and it's not for those types of people so she got an IUD but if your a very disciplined organized person it will work out pretty great and you can use condoms etc with it until you get it down to an exact science and in your fertile window if you choose to do so. It's great wether your trying to get pregnant or avoid it because you learn so much about your body and it can give you a sense of control of your body if you like that kind of thing.

I am 14 and was diagnosed in October of 2023. I remember having chest pains and tiredness and being freezing all the time. Thanks goodness my doctor took an ekg and a blood sample for antibodies since she also had hashimotos. I was diagnose by my endo but I was still having chest pains and when we went to the cardiologist they pushed it aside. The next time I had an appointment with my regular doctor she said everything looked good and was surprised about heart block. My mom or dad was never told about the heart block and we didn’t find out until February. I’m so thankful for my doctor and that she could help get me diagnosed.
I hate depot....I'm going back on the pill. It has embarrassed me publicly with gushes of blood from unexpected period...I've gone up 3 dress sizes and i don't even eat unreasonably. I'm very active so this is just uncalled for.
I get waxed and I’m starting to think that I’m getting BV from getting waxed… my husband is away right now so it’s not due to sex or anything like that for that matter.
