Glad you found it helpful! There are a lot of different ways to approach color grading in Resolve. Please let me know if you have any questions. I would love to answer them!
I found myself here because earlier today I was making didgeridoo sounds with a mostly full bottle of water earlier lol. yeah idk either man, I want one tho 😂
I think the biggest thing that I’ve noticed is there is a ton of different film profiles that ultimately impact the look of the photos you’re working on. I haven’t worked too much with Lightroom presets, but I think they are similar to actions in photoshop.
Garbage, stupid title, unseless info! the new update WILL erase all your settings and you can load them with back from just saving them as you are telling, dub%^ ass.
Personally I find you workflow a bit odd and backwards. To get the best out of Dehancer, you should make use of the whole developing/printing process it provides. So the first thing is setting the print stock, cause it makes a huge difference in contrast. Than I choose my negative, and after that I do everything else within Dehancer. If you do contrast/exposure etc. first with Resolve nodes , you limit your self, and you get a less clean image, since Dehancer (that uses a different math under the hood) has to fight those nodes, an it is getting muddy really quick.
If you switch the node to linear instead of log in a color managed environment, you can use linear gain to adjust balance. Printer lights seems to work in offset. I wonder if the adjustments would be done in gain in a linear node. I’ll test it out.
@@Richard_Lutz switching to linear, primer lights still adjust offset. However offset reacts slightly different in linear than in log. I’ll do more tests.
I was referring to settings as presets. I was just trying to let people know. To quickly summarize, I've spent a lot of time customizing my camera to meet my needs when it comes to shooting and I don't want to have to spend time changing change settings again. Saving your camera settings to a SD card allows you to quickly update your firmware and get back to shooting.
I echo the earlier post - Great Tour. When you took the various lifts, trains, etc. to get up the mountains, did you pre-purchase your tickets individually, pay for them as you went, or use some of the online travel passes?
We didn't buy any lift tickets in advanced. We often went into the day with no plans. However, if there are certain things you want to see I would look into them before your trip to determine the popularity and to see if you should buy tickets. I hope you have a great trip!
