I seriously can't believe it was all out-of stock. I would lobe a slow release. I work and am not sure when your plants drop. I would absolutely love one of your babies!
Hi Elaine! I post the next restock date/time at the top of my website. It’s usually 4 pm eastern on Fridays. Most of them are sold in the first 5-10 minutes. I am going to start releasing some during the week though 🙏🏼
Yeah. The jade scindapsus that you gifted me..? Still looks the same!! 😂 It's cracking me up but also...not funny! LOL Good to hear you say how slow they are 😉 I did just clip a mini grow light onto it's pot so... any day now 🤞 Your new card looks great. You are doing an amazing job with everything!! 💚
You are such a perfectionist (in a good way and a caring one). I noticed that with your plants before your shop too. 😆Just don't wear yourself out or worry to death. I know it can be exhausting.
Yes, I figured that :( I have rules/policy in place for those that try to take advantage. I know it’s going to happen regardless because you can’t make everyone happy 😅
I just bought my first begonia from your shop☺️I’m so so excited I have been eyeing this one since watching your plant collection! Any tips on caring for this beauty?🤩 thank you again I can’t wait to get her 🫶
Thank you so much for ordering! ☺️ I have my main plant just in water and it loves it 😁 it’s rooting nicely so it can stay in the 3 inch pot for a little bit and you can transfer it to your regular mix or whatever you prefer. This one isn’t picky with humidity but they can get crispy if they dry out for too long.
I’m so sad! 😭 I was waiting on your website 5 minutes early (9:55am Hawaii time). I refreshed at 10:00am and I didn’t see any plants, I thought maybe I had the time difference wrong. I refreshed the site 4 minutes later when realized I had the time right after all. Everything was sold out 😢 Maybe next time 🙏🏻
I think it could be a good business decision (temporarily) to add plants during the week. See what bites and if it's worth the labor. ALSO, random drops in limited supply would create demand ;)
Random restock is better in my opinion so everyone isn’t shopping at the same time and you aren’t swamped with packaging all in one or two days. Love seeing behind the scenes of a small business 😊
Thank you! I’m going to add random plants on the site to see how it goes. I would still be packaging only in a couple days since I only ship plants Mondays and Tuesdays :)
I love the new card!! Such a great idea with the scan me code!! 🤗 Love these shop videos. It worked out perfect since I had to sign up for the newsletter again!! 😊 Ps. I’d buy your anthurium hybrid 😬
Hi Melissa! I have purchased plants with nodes with just activated growth and I personally feel the plant is still worth the money if the new growth isn't too white. Usually these types of cuttings are a "little cheaper" by a few dollars only depending on the variegation from the mother plant it came from. Hope this helps💚💚. 🤗🤗
Melissa, you are probably the only shop I would spend the extra money as your plants are gorgeous and healthy and I know how much time and love you put into your plants. You are doing great! I think listing random also would be nice to give others a chance LOL! still trying to score a frydek. I was shopping yesterday and was lucky to find a pink princess, not nearly as beautiful as yours but hoping to rehab and grow into a beautiful plant like yours. Many blessings and love!
Did you already sell out? I can’t wait to have some of your beautiful babies! Just wanted you to know…. You have helped my plant journey so much!! I put your videos on shuffle during my plant chores! You’re the only creator I do that with. 🫶🏻
Thanks for your content! Btwn you, jungle haven, and Sidneydude - I have learned sooo much! My plants are grateful too💚 Do you ever go live where people can ask questions?
You should try to time your plant feature of the month with the release of plants in your store. Like if you have a bunch of scindapsus you’re gonna release to sale make that your plant feature of the month and have a section on your website for the monthly plant feature. Just a thought
I think there are many people who just love to complain about things. Plants will have imperfections 🤷♀️ On another note your nails are so pretty in this video 💜
Wow! I had no luck with my string of pearls or string of hearts cuttings. 😢 maybe the spag moss was too wet?? Would i have had better luck with oerlite?
How do I order one of your seedlings. The crystallinum and magnificum babies. I want one! And I want one of your Verrocusum babies! That is my #1 plant on my wish list. And I would love nothing more than to get one from you! Keep me posted!
Just my opinion as an addict of buying plants online. Do not worry so much about the size of your plants to sell. You take pictures of them and if you put a ruler next to it in the picture the person knows the size when they buy it, so they have no right to complain. 😊 I typically ask the shop owner for an updated picture after I buy it.
Your Alocasia’s Cuprea has gorgeous purple leaves! I love how pretty those leaves are when they’re new. Mine all turned greenish way too quickly and I don’t understand why. Is it normal for them to “green” off as they harden? Your shop videos are my favorite, but I watch all of them even the Hoya’s and I am not a fan of Hoya’s. 😂 I hope one day I can be more like you as a planty creator it’s so hard to think about what to talk about for me.
Thank you! Mine is called a " Cuprea Red Secret" The leaves do harden off darker but still has a lot of red/purple/green undertones to it especially in the light :)
I tried a similar mix, with the cocoa husks called Noot. Really wanted to like it, but it did the same thing. The whole top of the soil was dry, but just a soggy mess at the bottom of the pot. It rotted several of my plants and was so expensive! I actually stay away from anything cocoa coir and like you, just stick to ocean forest with orchid bark and perlite.
