I talked to our electrician. Turns out there is a latch underneath the cover on the middle but it was very hard to move. It caused a slight scratch and hurt my finger. I'll leave it like that until winter to be able to use it often.
You have the best quality products in that arena. Still wish you were making them in spring grove Illinois instead of Mexico though. There are plenty of mexicans living there now.

one of the only manufacturers of electrical equipment that does not post ANY electrical specifications for its product. No point in making a video without its rated VA, or volts and amps separated. HP can be reviewed by finding nominal motor ratings but is an unnecessary burden on the consumer or contractor. Heavy duty in 115v application typically refers to 20 to 25 amp rating such as outlets. if its 15 amps that is standard duty.

A HUGE shoutout to Intermatic Customer Support. This video was so straightforward, but after programming this at least a dozen times, I called the technical support and reached Joel who was so incredibly patient with me and figured out my wiring was the issue. He walked me (72 yr old) through how to correct the wiring and verified my timer setup. When you have to get this done to go on vacation, Intermatic answered the bell. Small things matter to customers that and totally frustrated. Kudos to Intermatuc for having support resources like Joel and this video with the support team number included!

These are the worst timers ever I had my uncle who’s a top engineer in Boston Massachusetts. Try to program this timer and it was still difficult. Keep in mind. My uncle is one of the smartest people and if I may suggest whatever you do do not buy a timer from this company, we’ve tried to program it twice and it still does not work and instead the light goes on during the day instead of the night I even had my master electrician come over and electrician try to program it and the same thing happened. We even tried to time at the opposite, figuring it might reverse and it still Did its own thing. Whatever you do I beg you to please do not buy any timers from this company. It’s so difficult to read because everything so small and it’s just a complete nightmare to program it and it still doesn’t work. I don’t know what these people are thinking at this company, I don’t know how on earth they think regular people can program these. What a bunch of idiotsss

If the event you have programmed is currently in the "OFF" position, (for example: lights should be off because it's daytime), then the current state will be displayed on the screen as "OFF". However, if you have it programmed for an "ON" event and the lights are on, but the display continues to show' "OFF", then we recommend calling our technical services team to troubleshoot the issue with you over the phone. Great video! I'm a bit puzzled. If I need to schedule just an ON/OFF event under the "SET FIXED" for the water pipe, how can I deactivate the Astro and other sunrise/sunset programs? For instance, I want the water to run for my system every day from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, for only 30 minutes.

Use this procedure to clear the settings programmed for an event. 1. If necessary, press the MODE button repeatedly until the words SET ON/OFF EVENTS are shown on the display. 2. Press the ENTER button as necessary to cycle through events that have been set until you see the event you want to delete. 3. Press the + and - buttons AT THE SAME TIME to display --:-- -- 4. Press the MODE button to exit. Hello, and thank you for the question. We do not recommend forcing them off. Doing so could damage the spring. We do have count down timers that may work better for you. What if the switch I installed is missing the SSID number? I installed two of these recently at the same job. First one had no issues. The second one is blank where there should be an SSID number, and I can find it under the WiFi networks. Any ideas? I tried to reset it but that didn’t change anything

I do not think that the basic consumer could ever get this controller programmed with just the printed instructions that are included in the package. This video at least made it possible. I wish I had purchased the ones like I had programmed in the past. I will be vigilant to not purchase this controller in the future.

I have installed and programmed a few of this type of controller. The others make sense to program and I don’t need the instructions again. Even a year later I do not need the instructions. This one is VERY complicated even with the instructions. I will search RU-vid now for instructions that make programming this controller possible. I apologize if you purchased this like I did.

It is not that complicated? There is an instructions Manuel that comes with the kit,. You should be able to use that and get whatever you need done in minutes
