Thanks for the info cause I have a 2023 fat bob and I never knew about the USB ports. The pig tail I’m changing out and replacing it with NORCO CBC007 to make it to charge my battery or connect my NORCO GB 40 charge pack.
Could instead make a pvc frame to fit into the water bladder slot to create stability and not have to compromise the bag. Cool idea thought 💭 looks solid.
I dont do much dirtbikes but go through a lot of street tires so I bit the bullet and spent several hundred dollars on the No Mar tire machine with nylon dog blocks. But I dont think it is gonna work on spoked tube tires so I am looking for solutions I have an old Harbor Freight changer that cost like nothing many years ago but it is a POS all I ever have used it for was the bead breaker lol. I was hoping to find after market clamps that I could adapt to the No Mar....the No Mar posi clamps alone cost more than your entire setup I bet and I already have too much money into this money pit
Military surplus bags make for the best sissybar bags. A little mod here and there, and you've got something that'll outlast the other name brands out there.
Problem I’m having is that all my bikes have 15mm axles, meaning I will need a half-inch rod to fit. Adapting the overhead bar to a half-inch pin is going to limit how much leverage I can apply. Do you think it will be too thin?
Nice demo. Your rims have nice deep drop centers, unlike the rims on my FZ-09. Thank you for showing that the duck head works in both directions during install.
I have same problem and i have tried putting upto 4 shims but nothing works and if i give choke during mid throttle it picks up and goes. What should i try now?
Very well done job! I do not know or have access to any welding tools, would you kindly make and sell me the bar and I can get the duck head part on my own?
i am looking at these. right now 14-16k and you're in for a used ride. 4 things i intend on doing before i even pull it out is, bars and risers, pipes, rear fender, and new tank/s. fat bob must be fat everywhere. well done, and i agree, heartless davidson cheaps out on the most basics.
I like the welded clamps on the side. I welded two small nuts for stops and used J.B. Weld to keep the handles in place and lock tight on the knobs. Works great.
This really helps! I'm still getting a full yellow light when I press the break. Turn signals and running light work fine. Added the diode to the red cable just like your video/diagram. Still get yellow with either break. Soooo frustrating. I would truly appreciate your help! 🙏🙏
Thank you for posting this. I bought a backpack a few weeks ago (used $5) for added storage for trips to the store and work. I was ok with wearing it on my back when needed. Saw you video and and hour or so that evening had a great looking sissy bar bag. Thanks so much and keep posting!
I put my mirros below handle bars looks good. But, I dorpped my bike and the mirro put a dimple into my tank. Now I use Biker's Choice Tapered Long Stem Mirrors Black. That way if bike lays down again the mirrow will not dig into gas tank
Using it the first time I ran into a problem because my HD Glide has dual disc brakes. The problem may be solved by putting a 30 degree angle in the bar. ???
I've changed several tires and seen lots of tutorials and mods. This is by far the best and most reasonable and practical one for the non-professional. Great job! Thanks for sharing and this will be my solution to a pain in the ass job.
The extra connector on the battery tender cord is for the original Harley tender. It would “charge” faster when connected to the third (spade) connector.
