Oi Charles, Eoughwan, I’m into your podcast, but I’m not up for all that subscribing, liking nonsense, yeah? I just wanna listen in peace without all the nagging. Cheers!!!
I dropped into a gym recently where Charles was on the mat also. The guy is absolutely massive in real life. He lumbered past as if I was Jack, just climbed up the beanstalk
@@jinxit thanks mate but wrestling instructionals only answer how to prevent going belly UP. Im asking in a jiu jitsu context. I’ll wait for them to answer on the next pod
Question: Having issues with this for the past few months. From inside ashi when going for the outside heel hook finish. Ie Gordon ryans finish on Saunders or a few of Pearman's wins at trials. What do you do about their secondary leg pummelling and pushing on your legs to free knee line?
Hi guys. I saw Eddie walking in the lower part of Manhattan when I was on holiday there in July 2023. He looked like he had just finished working in an office that day. He looked in great shape. He had a beard and short hair. I wanted to catch up with him and say hi. I told my family he is a legend, but they didn’t care and persuaded me not to run after him.
Question: what is the easiest/best way to enter the legs? Is it really from bottom? Trying to stop them from passing WHILE getting a decent leg entry is hard. Will we see flanny get off his arse at cji?
Question to both of you: mobility exercises (only body-weight though) to increase capability to recover from failed single leg shots: I land in turtle on my knees, the opponent sprawls hard, but I keep a grip on his leg. Thanks!
I saw Eddie Cummings at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Boris left because he was getting progressively fed up with Danaher always being late to training. Only so much effin around you can justify when you’re a 40 year old man with kids
