Knlungo’s stitching makes sense, his outfit was all messed up and he was beaten in tooie so the stitches makes sense in canon, I also prefer Humba in nuts and bolts compared to Tooie since it’s less of a racial stereotype, could also say LOG radically changed her outfit due to the same reason which is funnier to think about
@@dorkork I like the log changed her outfit because of his thoughts, Personally I don’t have any issue with her in Tooie. In fact she was one of my favorite new characters!
@ I see where you’re coming from, but it really doesn’t bother me personally. I think she went too basic in nuts and bolts and is unrecognizable from her counterpart in Tooie. There could have been a more happy medium.
I think the easiest answer to most of these is they were remnants of when this wasn't going to be a Starfox story and they retooled a bunch of things they already had for the lore they had going on for Sabre and Krystal, as Fox got shoehorned in. To this day i kinda wonder how the full story was going to be, but i read an ending wasn't even planned yet by the time Nintendo suggested to make the game about Starfox.
I played the Playstation version and that one was different. In retrospect, it was cut, and it was more edgy with some of it's dialogue. Rayman 2 Revolution was consistent with the N64 version, but it was also cut, and it had an entire open world that's like a Hub.
@@curiosityman3704 no I was. I swore you could only stun them to the ground for a bit. Apparently you can. It’s been like 2 years since I’ve played DK64 tho. I’m due for a replay. Gonna live stream and see what else I forgot lol
Does the Twin Kremlin Duo from DKC3 that only appear in Krematoa counts? I'm not sure, those dudes always scared the crap out of me. Also that target shooter thingie in the factory spider level. Its alarm is really menacing
When we going to realize there's no comparison between the two they're both Timeless gems i love em both for the racing diddy kong yes for the story but come on stop ding this to games we had the best game to ever come oit between the 80s 90s and 00s and mid 2015
Funfact: the shark is killable with 6 hits of eggs while hes appeared. Easiest way to do this very quickly fire eggs from behind on a box onto his face. Then you can safely swim anywhere in the nearby area. Without worrying about him.
This channel deserves so many more subscribers. Every video is entertaining and pieced together well. Keep up the awesome work! As for scariest character in an N64 Rare game? I would say either the shark in Treasure Trove Cove/Rusty Bucket Bay (Banjo-Kazooie) or Conker's old vampire ancestor (Bad Fur Day). They terrified me as a kid... and I'm still scarred to this day.
@@johnnydomol1048 thank you for saying that! I sure hope I do get more subscribers, still waiting to really kick off! Slowly but surely tho! I’m thankful for the support :)
Banjo Tooie is technically the first Banjo game I played and so not only do I like it more, I've memorized quite a lot about it. I've even learned a few speed run tricks even though I have no interest in speed running. It's good to see somebody besides myself defend tooie as everyone seems to be so stuck up on Kazooie. And you make some pretty strong points, and everyone seems to forget that Kazooie did actually have an instance of backtracking, two at most. There's also lots of things I think Banjo Kazooie sucked at that Tooie got right, and you covered those too. The biggest was the swimming. I struggle a lot playing Kazooie especially in Clankers' Cavern because I'm used to the swimming controls in Tooie, and rightfully so, the swimming controls in Tooie are superior. Plus I started playing Tooie when I was really young and just enjoyed it more as it had Chuffy, and my personal favorite, Hailfire Peaks and Jolly Roger's Lagoon. While this comment is starting to turn into an essay covering points you already covered, see it as somebody with the same views trying to reinforce your argument. And for the people who say the worlds are empty, I'd like to see you design worlds better, I bet you can't, they'll probably be just as empty, and don't cheat and make a small level, actually make a big one, I dare ya'. Overall Tooie is great, but I also agree there's only one thing that sucks about Tooie... CANARY FUCKING MARY! I remember you said she broke your Turbo Controller, she also caused Carpel Tunnel Syndrome fuck her!
This was only ever a rental game for me growing up, more or less. Been playing it for the first time in 24 years, and I'm seeing parts of it I haven't seen since I was ten years old. It's a trip.
