Welcome to Ozark Overland Adventures! Our goal is to inspire people to get out and explore this amazing world of ours and educate people on how to do that responsibly. We do a lot of trip videos, gear reviews and a few how-to videos here and there. I drive a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and my wife drives a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Though we love our Jeeps, for us, it's not about the vehicle. It's about the journey and the friendships we have made along the way. We spend a lot of time in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas but also spend as much time as we can traveling other states seeing as much of this amazing country as we can.
Please subscribe, like, and comment. We appreciate all of the support!
the anker is hands down a better product. an established company that actually backs it up, not solely based on influencer marketing, better build quality and design..
This has been your best video and the most inspiring. I love nothing more than to this with my wife and when she sees this it gets excited to try and seeing both of you work together to get through obstacles, has been amazing. thank you
Dual battery is cheaper, easy to setup and to upgrade but I believe most folks don't wanna mess with doing the math, figuring out all the pieces needed to put together, even if it means paying a bit more for something completely integrated aka plug and play.
Hi, if possible can you put a link to everything that you have on your Ribicon plesse? I wouod love to build mine exactly like yours. It's an absolute beast and beauty!!
I'm using your videos as inspiration! I'm building up a 2006 4runner. I'm not going crazy with it, and I don't plan on doing any rock crawling, but I'm doing a small lift, bigger tires, and a roof rack. I want something that will get me out into the woods to see some of the epic views you have been showing in your videos! Keep up the great work, and those drone shots are incredible!!
Keep in mind you are looking at one small overlook of the Grand Canyon. There’s literally hundreds of miles of vistas that all give you different views. One of my favorite spots along the canyon, and it’s in the north side, is Toroweap Overlook, where you can literally look 3000 feet straight down to the Colorado River. It is absolutely breathtaking and totally worth the 60 mile drive on a washboard road. Then there’s hundreds of miles of trails to the west of there, in the Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument.
Great Video.....my first viewing OOA....will have to catch up on your others. I'm curious about your equipment prep. You noted no spare tires...on this type of trial (easy,) do you still pack a few days food and water,, "just in case?" Of course it is nice to have a backup vehicle. Thanks for a fun and scenic ride.
One thing that kills me with NM trails. The ranchers think they own all the trails and roads, county roads, public and national forest trails. They try to block all access and even refuse to give you room when passing them on the road. Not sure what happened in the past or they just really like their privacy lol
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures is that what it is? I thought I seen a video that had the sheets and the comforter all sewn together. I just got my OGT trailer and want a single unit system so I’m not having to tuck in sheets and blankets all the time.
Hi Matt and Cara, I really miss Rooster. 😢 Again, I’m so sorry for your loss! Thank you for sharing Rooster with us! ♥️. The Channel Dirt Road Cred recently talked about Motobilit's brand-new high-clearance Jeep Tail Lights. Pretty cool. Takecare! ❤
Be careful and watch your temperature gauge. On a trip from Bend to Ontario we had enough of those things plug the radiator and overheat the truck. At the time a service station in Hines had a water hose with a copper tube on it. The tube had small holes so you could spray backwards through the radiator in blast the debris out the front.
I’m currently going through a similar situation with my Ursa, she has a heart problem too and none of the medications are working. It’s soo hard when there’s nothing you can do to make feel better… Sorry for your loss…
I suspect that you didn't show the Grand Canyon close up because it is in a national park and they are stupid about "commercial". As I recall there is bill floating through Congress to fix that and some parks, such as Canyonlands, no longer care about vloggers. The next challenge with them will be allowing drones in remote areas near roads. The stretch between House Rock Rd and the North Rim is boring.
So you ended up in the spot I've used all three times. You posted a picture a couple weeks ago of a spot I've been in before too. So funny to see it from some else's perspective. My father in law brought a 5th wheel into that 2nd spot years ago, at night. They didn't realize until the morning they were 15" from the edge. !!!!
My condolences to your pup, it never gets easier. I keep telling myself no more because I hate to see them go, but it’s harder NOT to own one than it is to see them go. The club sandwich is amazing at Jacob Lake Inn! The Mayo is green, like a cilantro mayo or something like that, I remember it well!
Thanks, I purchased the Cliq Riveria, haven't been on a trip with it yet, but is comfy. I have the Genesis Basecamp stove, but do not use the pots. I like a cast iron skillet and a couple light weight Stanley stainless pots. And a cast iron stovetop Dutch oven.
Love the video !! Me and my wife really enjoy it and it has inspired us to go out and explore ! Question : what kind of knife does Matt have overhead ?in the jeep
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures there’s always a next time. It’s where I’ve seen the 200 bison that inhabit the big meadow of North Rim right after entering the entrance. That was such a cool experience.
