I feel that there are beautiful people in any given country which includes the USA. So Russia isn’t special in that department. Smart is always a tricky concept. I think all humans are smart because we are still alive. Some people are brave but usually that is a smaller part of any population. To be brave requires a situation which needs bravery in most instances in our calm civilized lives bravery isn’t necessary.

about homeless people: that's an effect of climate on the culture. winters are harsh, so leaving homeless people in the streets mean they would die in a year or two for certain. but in the US, death of homeless people is invisible, and so throwing people in the streets or leaving them there does not "count" as a de-facto murder. homeless people still exist in russia but they are "professional" homeless, not just ordinary folks who got temporal life troubles.
