The Fullerton Police Department is made up of men and women who encompass these qualities. With a compliment of approximately 210 employees, 145 sworn and 67 civilian positions, the Fullerton Police Department handles close to 50,000 calls for service annually.
Under the leadership of Interim Chief Robert Dunn, the Department continues to look at ways to provide the best service to the residents of the City of Fullerton. Such innovations as Intelligence-led policing allow officers to utilize data in order to better predict patterns of criminal activity and assign resources accordingly.

I have known about Fullerton, California for many years. I graduated at Fullerton College. The video depicts Fullerton as a dangerous city. Which I feel is a poor depiction of this lovely city, and the original home of Fender guitars. Fullerton Observer also in its August 2023 paper, did not approve of how this video portrayed Fullerton, California. I could appreciate the Fullerton PD to recruit more officers, but PLEASE do not paint an unfair picture, of life in Fullerton, California.
This is truly a tragic incident for all involved. I think the young woman knew what she was doing ramming a patrol car then pointing a simulated weapon at the officer. My prayers are forgiveness for the deceased, and compassion for the officer and the parents. Also a big thank you to the LAPD officer that stopped and did everything possible to help and comfort the victim and Fullerton officer.
No weapon, yet you brought the swat team and attack dogs to take down 1 suspect?? Stop glorifying police duty as if your in militia! Do your job as a public servant, mediator, social worker. Your violence comes from your culture and training and that must end now!!

Yes, next time I have a prowler on my property, i'll ask the dispatcher to send a social worker to find out why his upbringing led the prowler to feeling compelled to snoop around a stranger's house at 5 AM.

They say she rammed his police cruiser pause the video at 5 minutes 40 seconds there is no damage to the front of her vehicle how could she have rammed him

Looks like suicide-by-cop: Tragic for the young woman; Tragic for the shooting officer, he has to live with the memories though he acted right out of the training to keep him alive. I hope the officer's K-9 got to the VET eventually and was ok.

One more thought,...the cop was in a face to face standoff with the female in a weapons ready stance while he fumbled with his gun,..if her weapon was real, the cop would’ve been dead,...but nothing happened,..no gun fire,...nothing,...until he finally got his shit together and squeezed off a couple of rounds,...this dude is incompetent and dangerous to the public. Also this video could’ve easily been photoshopped to make it look like she had a weapon,...people in law enforcement have created so much distrust with the public with their corrupt behavior that nobody put’s anything past what these individuals are capable of.
The fact that you have to shoot someone pointing a gun at you and trying to save their life seconds later mist be crazy stressful. I can't believe the officer kept his cool always, respect to him.
