Met Council Partner Up With Flatbush Fund For Passover Distribution

Millions of pounds of produce, chicken, eggs, and potatoes are just some of the items that were given out by Met Council this month to over 300,00 families. Everything is donated, according to David Greenfield, CEO Of the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty. Flatbush Fund was one of the over 200 distribution sites that work hand in hand with Met Council.
“Passover is the Jewish equivalent of Thanksgiving, except that Thanksgiving is one day and Passover is eight days. So imagine the stress making Thanksgiving for eight days,” said Greenfield.
