Hey Brad, my ex broke up with me in january saying she still loved me but needed to focus on herself. sadly i was very emotional and pleeded to get back, for 2 months i failed to give her proper space (although i tried it wasnt enough) which ended up with some argumens, after that i changed and apologized for not behaving right and things got better, we lived together until the end of may, and now that she left im doing the no contact strategy, do you think theres still a chance?

My ex and I have been friends for over 20 years. We always gravitate back towards each other no matter what. We are the best of friends. Hang out etc. we never seem to totally close the book. Not sure what it all means but we enjoy each other so much. The only ex I deal with. We hang out, watch movies, have sex etc etc etc. 20 plus years and she’s never ever completely gone. To me it’s crazy. Soul mate? I don’t know what it means all I know is we cannot talk for weeks and all of sudden we are all over each other. The sex is amazing but the friendship is even more amazing. We honestly care for one another and we want the best for each other. Yet we will date for months or even years. Break up but never really go away. I’ve stopped wondering why and just enjoy what we have. Whatever that may be. We laugh and just truly enjoy each other no matter what. We can talk and hang out and not even have sex but if we do it’s always like the first time. Just kissing melts us both. It’s like our fist kiss over and over again. This has been 20+ plus years now. I don’t questioned it anymore. It just feel right. Her laugh is intoxicating and her smile is beautiful as always. No matter what our situation is, no matter what time of day it is. She’ll be there for me and I’ll be there for her. Don’t really know what it all means lol. My friends say I should write a book. Her friends are not surprised at all nor are mine. We always just say “it’s us” no one can explain it and we don’t care.

If you cheated on your ex and expect them back, for God’s sake, don’t post pictures of yourself with the opposite sex. It only reminds them of the reason they’re gone and reaffirms their decision. Think of what they’re feeling.

Hey brad me and my ex met yesterday after two months. Im done doing 30 day no contact but after that we met again for my order that i left to her . We do sex because i insist . I am an Anxious and my partner is Avoidant but what confuses me is that she got really triggered about some things and i started working on my self a month ago and she even acknowledged how immerse the change and how fast. She never broke up with me but she was distant and currently we live in different counties. The last conversation we had she went on full panic mode as soon she mention breaking up and i had to calm her down by making her do some breathing work. The point of validation really hit home for me. My ex eventually was talking to me on messenger every day, but when I wanted to meet up sometime, she always would have some excuse why she couldn't. I never understood why she would speak to me all day every day, but never one time does she want to spend time together. Clearly, she just wanted to feel validated. The same reason she sits there posting so many selfies on social media and deleting the pictures when they don't get enough likes. Validation. This definitely shines a new light on the situation.
