Hello Brad! I hope you reply to my messages. I and my ex were in a one year long relationship and I was very toxic and abusive towards him. He tried a lot and thought I would be a better person but I didn’t change at all. I was insecure about his past relationships and always bought it during our arguments. He asked me to break up with him but I begged and cried several times telling him I would change and be a better person. At last I went no contact but he texted me just after 2 days of no contact asking how I was doing and if I was eating well. Do you think I can win him back. Hi Brad! My relationship has ended in a very critical situation.. My ex is very irritated and stubborn.. He has blocked me from every place and I don't know whether he will unblock me or not. It's been a week since I went no contact and It's my birthday on the 48th day of no contact...Should I wait till then or contact him as soon as the 30 days are over? And if I am still blocked, should I contact with the new number? Because I am getting the number changed in the documentation also. So this number has to be off.

Hey Brad. My ex and I broke up 9 months ago after an incident where my dog got put down. We were in talks and even intimate in October 2 weeks later met somebody when traveling and was talking to them as a friend while also still romantically talking to me. Talking to me and wanting my attention while occasionally mentioning this other person. But it was recently when he said he was going to try things with this new person and they make it official in March but he hasn't moved on from me. And he wouldn't even be straightforward and he wants me to "be his best friend" while he pursues the new relationship. I want a no contact after we left hooked up on the 12th of January, but he keeps finding reasons to contact me or watch my stories. He even did something where he tried to get a rise out of me by bringing the new person to a social event i was at and then immediately leaving. We were together for 5 years. Would know contact work or do you think I should completely move on?

Not good. But you did the right thing by rejecting his friendship. Since your ex has the "Grass is Greener" Syndrome, realize and accept that this is outside your control and really the best you can do is becoming the best version of yourself and vibrate higher, which means NOT taking less than what you deserve and not settling to just becoming an option, especially if this used to be a stable relationship between you two. He's likely taken you for granted, so you don't really need that in your life. For your own sake, stop that first. No contact means cutting off unnecessary communication with your ex in any way, shape or form for at least 30 days. It also means ignoring unimportant or random messages from your ex for at least 30 days straight. This also involves NOT looking at any of your ex's online profiles so you won't overthink things. In other words, the "no contact" period is a time where you fully focus on yourself and take time to heal. All right? Take care!

What if they monkey branched to their ex, after a 9 month relationship? He didn’t break up with me, but distanced and I eventually found out/he reluctantly told me. This was a few months ago. I immediately went NC. Similar social circle so have seen him a few times. We are cordial. Any thoughts? I have no idea how this will play out

I really hate to burst your bubble here but let him finish whatever unfinished business he has with this ex. Sorry, but there's not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if he’s seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. Thank you - me too, although I’m in no rush! That’s exactly what I’m doing - leaving them to it. In our brief conversation we had when I caught him with her in public, he said they had ‘unresolved issues’. I may very well have been his rebound. Stings like hell, especially as he never mentioned any issues, or an ex and I have no idea of their history or how they reconnected. We seemed to be well connected and built a strong friendship first, over time. It’s quite awkward, he stares and looks a bit embarrassed, the few times our paths have crossed. I appear indifferent. I’ve healed a lot and feel weirdly stronger, despite the initial pain. Not sure at this point if I would want him back. NC really is the way and for indefinite! Thank you for all you do😊

No I disagree. You should do what you feel will make you heal. If you are ok with seeing them exist post break up, then don’t unfollow. But I’d you feel it will be painful seeing them move on, then unfollow. I’m a firm believer NO CONTACT runs deep; you unfollow them on everything. If y’all are done, then you’re done. I would say don’t block their number quite yet unless shit gets ugly. Social media is bullshit, its an artificial wonderland where people seek validation. Just focus on yourself and DO NOT PLAY GAMES. If the person reaches out and asks, just say “look I don’t have any hard feelings toward you or anything, I just need to heal”. That’s it

Bro it happens. You absolutely need this in your life to harden yourself as a man. Don’t be discouraged, women seamlessly bounce from relationship to relationship. It’s not all that impressive. Me and my ex broke up 2 months ago and she already started sleeping with other dudes and we were together for 2 1/2 years. It stung at first but I feel no way about it now because I will not allow something that is out of my control get the best of me. My ex was playing games with me while we trying out being friends and convinced me that perhaps we could rekindle shit but like I said she was playing games, so I blocked and deleted her on everything. Just keep doing what you doing bro and continue to heal. Don’t dwell on the fact that it’s over now, be grateful that happened. If she's easily influenced, her feelings for you may not have been that strong. Depending on what really cut the relationship short, it may be time to consider moving on from this. But don't rush. Hi brad! My ex stopped talking to me after a misunderstanding and I kept on texting him multiple times trying to also apologize and he didn’t reply, when he finally did he texted and wrote that we can’t work bcuz of his reasons he can’t disclose to me, my sis sent him a hateful message bcuz she was so pissed off of how he treats me sometimes he then screenshots it and send it to me but I didn’t reply and he sent me a merry Christmas text I just texted him same here, and since over a month I haven’t reached out to him and he hasn’t too and I realized he also unfollowed me, I still miss him dearly don’t even know how to reach out to him🥺 it’s harder bcuz we are in a long distance relationship

Trust me when I say he can feel this anxious energy you're putting out even if he's not around you. You've got to get yourself into "divine feminine energy". This takes time and you have to do the shadow work but believe me when I tell you I was very similar to you after my breakup and the amount of growth is so worth it. Not necessarily although sometimes that is the case. As tough as it may be, it's always best to come to terms with the breakup and the fact that you're both single now. You doing the "no contact" rule neither prevents nor encourages your ex to go with someone new. In other words there's really nothing you can do to keep your ex from getting with someone new if they want to. Employ no contact and keep your dignity while respecting your ex's decision to breakup (why push yourself to someone who doesn't want you?) or Option 2: Do not do no contact and be pathetic. I always advise people to choose option 1 but really, which option you choose is ultimately up to you.

me and mine broke up in ocotiber. where she. went out and i kinda pulled up in her goin out nothing bad but she had been acting shady anyways she. was oissed sayin how embarrassed and. well she got over it. but then few weeks later she. was tryna end it. so she kinda. said some thing was wrong with her phone bread crumbed me here and there. keepin in minimum contact. but she still held that against me. and. had convos biut why we broke. that i caused this. and she was focusing on her self well. last month i caught her at walmart basically lyin to me. even tho we weren’t together she was keepin me round sort of. she was with someone i got oissed. and. then. try apologize she said i caused this. tho cuz i would never leave her alone to and. i m trying to no contact now we been almost 3 years

I watch these videos for comic relief. I can't believe anyone believes this. First and most importantly you are an EX because one party wanted to END the relationship. I've been on both sides. I never wanted to go back to an ex because ofthe reasons he became an ex and I'm sure it was the same when I was the dumpee. after 40 years of marriage I was widowed. I had a friends with benefits relation with a long time friend and widower. He met someone he liked better, dumped me in the rudest way possible and now we are no longer friends. Sad part is I lost contact with his family. His wife was a long time friend and we always knew what was going on with out kids, grandkids, etc. I've watched these videos and they are going on the concept that somehow your ex wants you back. sorry NO. that's why you are an EX.

Hi! Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you're amused. As a relationship coach for more than a decade, I say everyone has different reasons for wanting an ex back. A lot of the clients I've coached wanted to try to give it one last shot so they can move on without regrets or wondering about the what-ifs, particularly if it was a significant relationship to them. To clarify, it's not an ex (who dumped you) wanting you back but rather the dumpee giving it their last shot. Also, most cases are not related to cheating and it's what my tips are mainly about. It's a no-brainer that if you got cheated on, most people would just move on. Take care!

who cares. yeah it hurts but she dumped you. for the love of god stop centering your thoughts around her. you dont have to be a jerk but now is the time to put yourself first. all the things in the video are true and they work. but why would you do that to yourself? you need to get over them in the realest way. it sucks. cry your eyes out. feel it to the core. but please, get out into the world and learn about yourself and take this opportunity to become a better and more complete version of yourself. your journey starts now. put on some sunscreen, get outside, walk a few miles, eat a salad, read a book. youve been given an invaluable gift. you either take it seriously, or let brad help you simp the rest of your life away.

Hi Brad! My relationship has ended in a very critical situation.. My ex is very irritated and stubborn.. He has blocked me from every place and I don't know whether he will unblock me or not. It's been a week since I went no contact and It's my birthday on the 48th day of no contact ..Should I wait till then or contact him as soon as the 30 days are over? And if I am still blocked, should I contact with the new number? Because I am getting the number changed in the documentation also. So this number has to be off.

I am very stuborn, although I got dumped, I will never contact him if he doesnt initiate the contact, if he doesnt reach out for the rest of life, then I am not going to contact him
