I've lost count of how many controllers I've thrown across the room or crushed in my hand over the years due to these fin gran turismo licences. Another just bit the dust trying to do GT3 IB-1, which I've been sat here 6 - 7 hours just trying to bronze it. Bronze should be more forgiving, not every one has the time to become pro gamers.
I am glad they are back on track after the competizione thing. (not bad game but meh..) We need a real AC, their physics were always my favourite. Also as I heard there will be GARAGE and probably that's why we have here detailed engine bay (mechanic works?)
In tight corners, particularly hairpins, rally style would be best. They don't have other traffic to worry about and they through real competition know the fastest way. Be interesting to know if the game reflects this reality.
Yes, I was watching a GT7 video and the quick driver was mashing the brake to get fairly violent rotation for corners but in a real car the tyres would quickly overheat driving that way.
I also use this technique while g karting its deadly but i somewhat go too fast on the corners and hit them perfectly its just crazy how i drive cus uh i left the opponents in the dust💀
in beamng drive ive been practicing a mountain track i thought up. and with the awd hirochi sunburst i always tap the throttle to maximise corner speed and also keep the turbo spooled (even if its a smol 0.9bar on a 2L i4)
Slip angle is god hand technic if I'm not wrong. Takumi's drift looks more like a 4 wheel drift, he stopped overcountersteering when he faced Shingo on the tape battle. He realized that the less he countersteer the more he's faster
honestly in initial D the gutter wasnt "deep" like in the game. it was slightly very minimal difference in term of height. Thats why in Initial D they can do the gutter thing.
One of my first experiences for online corsa was using the mx-5. For a little while before playing online id play offline with other cars. I learned i could play online on servers that interested me. I hopped in the mx-5 for the first time and smashed the competition
Looks like you forgot the Test Drive, where you could go on a test drive with popular sports cars for the first time in first person dashboard view simulating driving real sports cars like Porsches etc. speeding on a mountain road next to a cliff, and then trying to outrun the cops who set in a chase to give you a ticket. And you also missed those first real 3d vector graphic Stunt Racers from 1990 who popped up after the iconic Hard Drivin' who put you behind the dashboard in a full motion cockpit sim in the arcades where you tied to jump over a bridge and even do a looping.
On a track where exits matter a lot more than cornering speed if you have to counter steer, it ends up slower than not trail breaking at all and accelerating late. Your wheel shouldn't be straight it should be turned toward the corner still obviously that depends on the car setup on how much towards the corner you need, but a perfectly straight wheel will destroy your exit speed and entry speed because you can't use your brakes because you're sideways and any throttle will require counter steer. If you can do that with adding brake and throttle inputs you need to fix the car setup. 10 degrees of slip angle is way too much as well. 2-5 degrees is what you should aim for. Your car isn't setup properly if you need more.
