Hi Peter, thanks for asking. In average, 21,000 cells were in the 70 mL cell suspension (= 3 x 10^5 cells/mL). Please find the link to the Instructions here: ibidi.com/img/cms/products/labware/open_removable/E_8XXXX_CI_2Well/IN_8XXXX_CultureInsert_2Well.pdf A detailed protocol for a wound healing assay using MCF7 cells can be found here: ibidi.com/img/cms/support/AN/AN21_Wound_Healing_Assay.pdf Hope this helps!
I am facing difficulties in dispensing the 10ul matrigel. It solidifies so quickly. Although I am taking care and keep it on ice all the material I am using.
We are sorry to hear about your difficulties dispensing the gel suspension. Unfortunately, we cannot support your question as we do not sell Matrigel products. We recommend contacting Corning directly for troubleshooting.
Thank you very much for the video, could I ask which variant of the Endothelial Cell Growth Medium from Promocell did you use for culturing your HMEC-1 cells?
Hi Setia, thanks for your question. How to quantify these assays can be found in our Application Note AN21: ibidi.com/img/cms/support/AN/AN21_Wound_Healing_Assay.pdf
