Fact Check: 92% of animal studies have been shown to fail to translate into humans. This is because humans have a distinct biology that cannot be directly replicated by testing on animals[1]. For this reason, the research discussed in this video is meaningless, and direct human testing is needed to confirm facts surrounding subjects like human aging. Sources: [1] "Bio Updates Figure for Failure Rate of Drugs After Pre-clinical Animal Tests to 92%" by Crueltyfreeinternational, September 10 2021.

I would recommend starting very slowly. This is a powerful antioxidant which caused me to have detox symptoms. I have the MTHFR mutation making it difficult to detox and this did quite the job. I have felt awful for days. Glad I figured it out.

The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 3:18 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

His introductory comment seems actually to be wrong. In 1800 no country had a life expectancy of over 40 years. By 1900 that extended up and several countries were over 55. By 1950 that had frown to several up to 70. And last I looked, more than 20 had life expectancy of nearly 80, with some of 80. The US, at 78, was 21st, and not in the top 20. And it seemed quite normal for people to enter their last 3 or 5 years at about where people had always been, within 3 or 5 years of dying. Yes, there are MANY exceptions, both ways - some with aches and pains for decades and some with none but then die at 81 in a few weeks or from a heart attack suddenly. Japan and Norway and Sweden are usually up quite far with their life expectancy. The average Japanese woman's life expectancy last I looked was 84. Meaning that at 100 they are "only" 16 years older than average. In terms of being vital, no, 69-year-olds are not as spry as 32-year-olds, or even themselves at 32. But vital years do extend with older life expectancies. I am 75 next month and feel as sharp and as vital as I expected to be at 55 or 60. I started a Mediterranean diet at age 22, while visiting Greece, thinking it would help me life longer. And I think it HAS. My mind is sharp, and I am working on a science research project that is very much a frontier of science endeavor. Physically I have slowed down, but I saw my heart beating on a monitor 6 years ago, and I was astounded how young and healthy it appeared, doing much more flopping around than I had imagined. I am sure I will make it to 100 and hope to get to 120. Not joking.

There are those who have not died.people whose names you would recognize. Your aging clock is program into your etheric genetics. It can be modified. By transmutation of its limited time line.the ancient yogis knew how to do this, witness Marco polo.these "scientist " are at the gross material level where deterioration is manifesting

Re physical activity and its relationship to hunger: Drosophila (fruitfly) larvae that are starved become hyperactive and crawl around faster and cover more territory. Mutants that alter molecular pathways in a way that simulates hunger also move around more, suggesting that the effect is not just increased "youthfulness" reflected in physical spryness. Interesting but (sadly) unpublished observations!

In the US, people are too fat to the point that if you're normal they say you're skinny, and if you're skinny, people think something is wrong with you. Abusing anything (food included) will lead to diseases early in our lives, then we live on with medication until we die.

The main thing I don't like about aging is having to slow down or not do what I used to like to do. Cutting firewood was satisfying because I knew I'd stay warm in the winter. The bright side for me is "We do not mourn as others who have no hope."

Frankly speaking, Venki Ramakrishnan DID NOT really deserve the Nobel Prize on the Ribosome. I consider the following scientists had ENORMOUS contributions, much more than Venki, in the field : Harry F. Noller, University of California at Santa Cruz, Peter B. Moore of Yale University. Yusupov et al (2001), from UC Santa Cruz and Ogle et al (2001), from Venki's MRC group in Cambridge, were both printed in the same issue of Science, May 4, 2001, back-to-back. However, Noller's life-long contributions on Ribosomes makes Venki look like a pigmy in the field, really. Also, way back in 1976, James A. Lake of UCLA had published a paper titled 'Ribosome Structure Determined by Electron Microscopy...' for small & large subunits and monomeric ribosomes, all verified by crystallography. Richard Brimacombe's group at Berlin also had published their Cryo-electron Microscopic study in 2000. Possibly, it was Venki's political support from his past mentor Thomas Steitz of Yale and the US clout, that resulted in Venki being chosen against more deserving candidates. Actually, Debi Prasad Burma et al (1985) Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics had first showed in their seminal paper from BHU that in the ribosomes, it was the RNA and NOT any of the associated proteins that carries out the catalytic function.

So sick and tired of these longevity researchers who are funded by the billionaire club in an arrogant attempt to cheat death. It's called aging and its a normal and inevitable part of life no matter how healthy a lifestyle you lead. Or call it genetic entropy and God has programmed it since Noah, he's gotten tired of striving with man and limited life to 120 years.

Good summary of Evolution, diet and Medicine as it applies to human longevity. But I didn't see any discussion of Telomerase and its correlation to longevity, and the fact that longevity (longest lived human) has not changed one bit despite advances in medicine. Is it because the interviewer didn't ask or because Dr. Ramakrishnan didn't find them relevant?
