Hi. I'm polish_pete_uk, and I'm a UK based Ebay reseller. I predominantly sell cheap ladies clothing, as this is what I can get where I live. I'm a happy husband, father of two boys, and full time carer for an elderly family member, which I do absolutely for free, so Ebay is our only source of income. Ebay has literally saved our bacon, when our life's gone upside down. To take care of an elderly relative, I had to give up my job. My wife has already done it after our second son has been born, so Ebay was our only hope. On my chanel I'll post some sales roundup videos, and some tips for everyday work on Ebay.

Lol I need to get my twitter acct back. I’ve sent them loads of emails but no response. They said I committed a violation. But if they would look I never tweeted anything. I’ll figure it out one day. I contact eBay on Twitter! They just have a fast response! It’s still eBay .. so that goes for many other companies! It’s not AI it’s people .. so I prefer Twitter, they are in Ireland! Glad all is sorted Pete! 👍
Wow unbelievable your account got hacked glad you got it back. Also let me point out the technology exists to let anyone look like hacking is coming from any particular country. And Bad actors in the US government are not excluded from possessing that technology.
Unfortunately it's very common at the moment for accounts supporting Ukraine being hacked. There was plenty of evidence, including hate messages months back. When I've recovered my account language was set to Russian. There was a Russian phone number set up as recovery phone, and many more.
Awwww so sorry to hear you have been going through difficulties. I did wonder where you were. I am glad you sought help and now you are back! My email, banking, and other areas of my life are so complex. I have a separate account for my business banking with a link to a unique email only for their use. I have a separate email for my clients with a unique email, I have a separate email for my online activities with a unique email...separate bank accounts for all my individual and business activities,...😅😅😮😮😮 This is how my brain works 😂 You are back for greatness. I hope you have set up two step verification on all your accounts so that you get a text message or email notification whenever someone tries to change your contact details. You do realize that most people who listen to you are going to call eBay and another conspiracy theory is born. My sales are not amazing at the moment but there is nothing short of getting better items I can do about it. People who dont list correctly, make proper titles, ship within 1 business day, or have other failing metrics(which is their fault), will now see this as a battlecry as to why they have slow sales. I get you are making these videos from a good place in your heart and you are always trying to help people but I would argue, these kinds of videos will do more harm then good, as again too many people will take it as "see PROOF that eBay is screwing MY STORE!" eBay is far from a perfect platform but reselling online is that way. Facebook marketplace screws up pictures, where you can only have 1 picture or they will randomly place a picture in the main featured picture, people are complaining poshmark and mercari are super slow. The only "theory" that makes sense is that youtubers and other social media outlets are leveraging reselling to make on on those platforms. I see on reddit all the time people posting they are new to reselling but saw some youtube videos and it looked so easy, the same thing happend to storage auctions when "storage wars" tv show debuted. The market will reach an equilibrium again where sales should get a little easier but there will be pain until some sellers drop out en masse. Yes the algorithm helps some stores and hurts others but trying to figure it out perfectly will never happen. It may also be that as a youtuber finds the secret and then talks about it online, everyone rushes to do that thing, then the algorithm changes again, so it doesnt work anymore. The point is you will drive yourself crazy trying to crack this thing, and it could be time better spent on other endeavors. JMHO
Hey Polish Pete: It's true. Sell similar isn't good anymore. You have to go into the description and change something. Changing item specifics, photos, price, shipping, etc won't work. There needs to be something changed within the description itself. I confirmed it by selecting 10 items, ending all ten items. Then did a bulk 'sell similar'. There is a column all the way to the right which shows "Last Modified". This column only updates when you change something in the description. This column used to update if you changed the item price, or title, etc. It no longer does. Algorithm has been changed!!
@@polish_pete_uk It looks like this new algorithm, is still in rollout. I have another store/account, and this account still updates the bulk / sell similar 'last modified' field when ANY field is updated. I re-confirmed on my other account that this is not the case. HMM.....
4 i all ways thought my account was flagged because i would get into many arguments with the woke ebay reps -i think more i called more i was flagged and put on some kind of list no matter how much i list i make same or less like a hidden sales cap is on my account

Great video, where do you get that google advertising on ebay. Im In the United States and we have a daily dollar limit you have to set. I dont think we get 1 cent a click.
I dont go.via ebay. That's pointless. I've made a video.about it. No controll whatsoever. Only daily limit. I do via Google directly. I can choose target audience, ad message, click cost, keywords and more.
