This scene has always bothered me. Sharon's face was cut up. It was the first wound she suffered at Tex's hand while she was pleading for her baby's life. Here, it's the autopsy, and she looks unharmed. There was no attention to detail in this film at all. Had they shown the true horrors of what those psychopaths did to her, we wouldn't be here today, talking about the possibilities of parole. But Bugliosi changed up the story to make it more palatable to the viewers, and here we are. Shame. A Hollywood production and seemingly no regard for Tate, who was one of their own.

When people say Leslie waited until Rosemary was dead and then stabbed her, they are misleading others about the “moderate” level of responsibility Leslie must take. Here is what they neglect to say. Leslie must take responsibility for what she did before Rosemary received any stab wounds. While Tex Watson was stabbing Leno with a bayonet in the living room, Leslie and Patricia were in the bedroom pushing themselves toward Rosemary while Rosemary swung a lamp at them, trying to keep the two female attackers at bay. Leslie could have helped Rosemary, but helped Patricia, instead. Then Tex Watson entered the bedroom, and Leslie made things easier for him, too. You are remiss if you neglect to mention this and if you focus on Rosemary being dead before Leslie wielded a knife.
