Doris Tate was a great lady, a fine human being...rip Doris.

What an incredible woman. Fighting for justice while mourning the loss of her daughter and grandson.

It was very moving to watch Sharon's parents place such beautiful flowers at her gravesite...and my admiration for Doris Tate knows no bounds with her courage and dignity over the years since her daughter's horrific death, to keep those responsible behind bars. God bless you, Mrs Tate, and your family.

If Sharon was anything like her mother, she'd have been a great mother to baby Paul. RIP Sharon and Doris Tate.

This interviewer has a smirk on his face as he begins interviewing Doris Tate, as she is recounting the details leading up to the slaughter of her two beautiful angels..Sharon,her daughter and her precious unborn grandson..and he's got a smart ass smirk on his face? He's as sick as the murderers..I'm surprised when this was over Doris didn't slap his smirk right off his face...

Thanks for the reply- that must've partly been the reason Gibby (reportedly) looked up from the book she was reading, smiled and waved at the killers as they walked past her room.

The way I understand it, Linda Kasabian accompanied the others to the house but didn't partake in the murders. She later testified against Manson.

Doris was a Warrior

I see that the late Doris Tate was curious about William Garretson. To me (and others I know) it has always been so very obvious that because the dogs ran back to Garretson from the main house unconcerned after hearing the visitors arrive (Tex Watson, Krenwinkel and Atkins alll reported seeing the dogs) he did not think anything sinister was underway. The LaBianca dogs also failed to make a big fuss when the Manson family members arrive.

Maybe they just needed some privacy. After all; this was the #1, MOST RANDOM; mass murder at that time. Before Patti Tate died, she said that family members of the other murder victims just wanted to be left alone and mourn in peace.

Sharon named her unborn child after her father Paul Tate. This is such a sad story and I can't imagine what her parents went through until they passed

Just curious- narcotics were indeed found in the Polanski house (as opposed to none at the LaBianca residence), but is there any proof that the victims were actually high at the time the murderes arrived. Indeed, not doubting they weren't (it's been written that Frykowski was indeed near the end of a weeks-long experimentation with MDA at the time) as it does seem likely but was just curious about the facts, that's all.

This man makes me sick. He smiles all the way through his interview with poor Doris & seems to enjoy seeing her reaction when he gives her facts about her daughter’s murder she didn’t know. A disgusting human being. He is enjoying & thriving off another’s grief.
