Pretty interested in body customization but the gameplay is....such a turn away for me. Not being able to be a dedicated archer is a hard pass. Plus party members seem to be locked into not only a weapon but also an element.
It would be nice if combos were on the wheel only after you do them so you have to figure them out but you can like, order them to happen way easier after doing so.
It just saddens me that we were never given the option to side with Solas. If not with this new game's protagonist, since this might open up too many branches for a game to encapsulate, at least with the Inquisitor. My elf mage would surely join the egghead in bringing true magic back into the world
The combat is a negative for me. I am yet to see a properly balanced 3D action adventure system. I have mixed feelings about the characters being pansexual. Just dont go the route of Zevron. I am hoping the Dalish Elves will be a big part of this story. I just doubt that will happen. Fen'Harel is going to be in this game!!! That makes it worth playing with that detail alone.
for the guy who said the camera tries to reorient you forward (first review), on pc when the game first launched, it would do this to you even if you weren't target locked on anyone. It was super annoying, but they changed it in an early patch.
I love the lore of dragon age, so count me in for a lore dump vid. I'm one of those 'loved DA:O, thought DA:I was mid' kind of players, so I am not getting excited yet for this game. So far it went from ''hard pass' (character trailer) to 'might get when on sale' ('gameplay' trailer... yeah sorry, I refuse to call the tutorial with 80% cutscenes actual gameplay), so let's see what upcoming information is going to do for me.
“no microtransactions or battle pass” i just hope they don’t pull a Capcom where they release the game and in the shop there’s like pay to win items but honestly i’ll keep my hopes up that it won’t happen, because i’m still excited for this game nonetheless.
5400x sounds like a lot of Procedural generation level design. With very few meaningful hand crafted zones. At least that's been the norm with existing games so i hope this will be different
Radahn is one of my fav bosses ever in any game. On release, b4 they nerfed him, it was the most epic fight ever. Made even more epic once you figure out the lore, that he was basiclly a mindless husk, but was still strong enough to fight you like that while he was using 99% of his remaining strengh to hold back a freaking meteor shower, and controlling local gravity so he didnt crush Leonard... his horse he had since he was a kid. TLDR: Radahn was actually the main character lol. We fought him at 1% of 1% of his full strengh. He also beat Malenia while holding the stars back as well. Bonkers
