I'm playing on Series X. I haven't had any performance issues really. Zero crashes. I've seen the frames stutter maybe once or twice, but that's it. I think the game is amazing. Combat is fun. Exploration is fun. I agree that limited fast travel is a boon, not a fault. A majority of the quests have been fun. Some of the fights with larger monsters are just epic. The pawn system is great. My wife plays as well, and being able to use each other's pawns is so much fun. We're both really enjoying the game. My only complaint is not being able to have a 2nd character. But given that I can change vocations on a whim, and given how the NG+ is set up, it's really just a minor complaint. 9/10 game at minimum in my opinion.

Hi Wolf! During your video, there was a commercial for DD2. I don't know if it's randomized or not, so I'd thought I'd let you know. Thank you for the one star reviews. They're a lot of fun to watch. Of course, a video about positive reviews would probably be fun to watch as well. I might play dd2 one day. It reminds me of Morrowind.

I really don't understand why you still support capcom. This game has an absolutely terrible, boring and predictable main story. The side quests are like from 20 years ago and the characters are completely without depth. Essential things for a good RPG are completely missing. For me this game has no immersion. The only thing that can be commended in this game are the fights, but even those become very repetitive over time and there are very few types of enemies. Exploring the same. The same caves everywhere you look and after a few hours there is nothing to keep you running around the forest and fighting a bunch of goblins every two minutes And I'm not even going to talk about the characters that pop up before your eyes in the cities and the fact that your main character is just an empty face without emotions and a voice. After a few playthroughs in BG3 this was a huge disappointment.

My only real complaint about this game is that 499% of the time are fighting the exact same monsters we fought for hundreds of hours in the first game. They barely added any new monsters at all and you defeat them all basically the same as you did before so there wasn't as much new and fresh in the enemy Department as I was hoping for. Which really could help the game stay fresh for me longer as you're going to fight these enemies hundreds of times

@lon3wolf642 yes the gorgeous environments are keeping me invested, but man, over half the enemies are just different colored and shaped goblins. Same way with saurians. I just wish they added a few more new day to day enemies to shake it up.

I don't believe the game would be better with more variety. For me anyway, the fun is more about how these things work together. Yes you fight many of the same things, but it's more about how those groups of things come into play together. EG, fighting gobs, then a wolf pack comes and drags off your mage while a griffon is circling overheard just waiting for the right time to dive. It's more about the variety of the encounters themselves, rather than just what mob skin it is.

It's rare for a game to just make you feel like you overcame a goddamn mountain. I went through those mines and at this point I am utterly spent or so I thought. Oh no, it's nighttime when I get out of those mines at half health and low resources. I run into a fucking goblin and wolf pack trying to make my way to a campsite in the dark and then I get freaking jumpscared by a damn minotaur whilst dealing with that. Now I'm at an eighth of my health fighting this thing and I am woefully under prepared and I'm freaking desparate. Oh god that music kicks in as my hired pawn sets this sucker on fire and my main smacks it with the skyward slash from her great hammer flooring it. I am nearly out of stamina so I urge myself to it. I get right on that bull-fuckers head and dire impale it and keep found till my stamina is out. I roared like a mad man once he went down after what felt like a twenty minute fight. That is what makes Dragons Dogma 2 good.

Every city/camp with an ox cart available doesnt need a port crystal unless they are connected to eachother via ox cart, and even then, youll only need to set one port crystal. Just gotta go through a few loading screens.
@caravaneerkhed
@caravaneerkhed 2 месяца назад
@@tongvang201 this is wrong… if you didn’t place port crystals at major hubs you’d have no reason to really place any of them, ox carts get raided so it’s nice if you want to be somewhere quick without back tracking to just use the ferry stone instead of wasting time with the ox cart. With that said I agree you probably shouldn’t place one in melve as it is not a very often traveled area once you are in the middle of game and the ox carts get you close enough even when they get raided. But I definitely put one in the checkpoint town as the road to it is much longer and if I don’t want to walk there I don’t waste time risking the oxcart as I have plenty of ferrystones. Currently I have one in checkpoint, one with sphynx, one at the elf village, and the last one I am holding until further notice.

@@caravaneerkhed I should've mentioned that yes, you should at least place port crystals at major hubs for convenience. I have a crystal each at the elven village and my sphinx location, and a third at battahli's capital. I decided not to place a crystal at melve or check point rest because they are both connected to vernworth by ox cart, and dont mind raids because you can hop back on to the carts and continue on if it wasnt destroyed.

I think a lot of people don't realise that the Pawn system is inherently incompatible with multiple save slots. They would have to work out a way to not overload the servers with 8 pawns per userID. Which is probably do-able but makes it a lot more understandable than saying theres no reason why.

Love the game, but I will be honest and say enemy variety, replay value, fast travel (if you can't teleport, at least add mounts), fake open world, unnecessary density of enemies in places that do not make sense, and the story are all pretty bad. I am enjoying the game a lot, but I don't think its 'Game of the Year' good because of poor choices they made. I understand they say they want the story from the travel on the road, but really thats not true if its always the same exact enemies in the same exact spots. Red Dead Redemption 2 did it way better, and made you want to travel.

A lot of the complaints about DD2 are unfounded, but saying that playing a game for 90 hours and give it a 1-star review is totally understandable even though I don't agree with it in this specific case. While I love DD2 and is a great game for me, I completely understand people that played Starfield for 100 hours and gave it a negative review because of the lasting feeling that it left them. I don't think we should discount negative reviews or criticize those people because they ended up regretting that they invested so much time in a false promise and then they decided to share that opinion to save other people their time. I'll trust a 1-star review from someone that played 100 hours before I trust one from someone that has only a few hours in.

1 Star means it literally cannot get any worse no matter what. And 10 means it is perfection. 90% of all 1-2 or 9-10 reviews are just completely worthless hating or fanboying. And anything you're willing to spend 100 hours on can never be a 1. It is objectively not a 1. You're free to have your own opinion, but to me, giving a 1 star review after more than 5-10 hours (depending on the game) is the same as going to a restaurant, eating the entire meal and then demanding a refund because it tasted bad. It just makes you sound beyond stupid. I would've respected him giving it a 3/10

I played over 120 hours, DD1 is my favorite single player game but dragonsplague is needlessly a pain in the ass. Having to get rid of every pawn after you reload your game, having to check their damn eyes when you hire them, and before you sleep in town every time you need to toss every damn pawn off a cliff. I miss the assassin and ranger also. Is what it is, maybe theyll add things in with DLC like they did with Dark Arisen in the original.

I have about 90 hours so far and I haven't finished yet. When it comes to the difficulty I don't think some players understand that not all fights are meant to be won.Running away is a valid option and in a game where at the beginning saves are quite limited its something I did a lot. Like my second cyclops fight being interrupted by a griffin I didn't stand around. I legged it lol. As for the fast travel I understand peoples gripes about it. Some sections of the game where you're running back and fourth a lot can get rather tedious. However fast travel in this game is earned by exploring and finding ferrystones that then makes mid to late game easier. As well as you can just farm gold for an hour and then buy as many ferrystones as you like. You can make 100-150k an hour depending on if you have the volcanic islands unlocked or just bakbattahl by selling fruit.

My main pawn is a warrior and the catapult launch is so useless like in the middle of a fight he just sits there waiting to launch someone in the air and he even threw me off a cliff several times in the middle of the fight. The only reason I still have that skill equipped is out of the combat unreachable locations. But it only triggers at some specific locations you can't use the skill at will which is so disappointing. Hopefully capcom adds advanced pawn commands because this is just ridiculous.

Most of those Reviews are funny to read, I have 90 hours by the time of this comment and i'm still not into the endgame (maybe the next weekend) And every second of it is not wasted at all, on the contrary, I still have loads of Ferrystones in my storage cuz i simply... don't WANNA fast travel. EVery journey has been hardcore and adventurous with amazing enemy encounters. I mean if a Open World RPG makes u not Fast Travel, then its a win. And i have lost count how many times i walked from BakBattahl to Venworth without any kind of Fast Travel. It's just really fun to walk in this game with 3 pawns, feels like a D&D campaign. I barely died too in this game, so i still have around 10+ Wakestones by now. If a Person says this game is wasting your time, then i think they don't know what a Open-World RPG is... Especially in a Game Like Dragon's Dogma where the Story is not that interesting but exploration is. I don't care about the Microtransactions either, Throughout your playthrough you'll get alot of the items you can buy Anyway. ofcourse it doesn't belong in a SIngleplayer game... My Pc is about 5 years old and i had no performance issues really, maybe some in the Capital City, but nothing annoying. So i can't speak for that, i don't know what PC those players run, it can be a Potato machine and they expect it to run smooth. I don't have verry good skills, but i use Warfarer like... ALL the time now, I love the idea of using ALL armor sets in the game and combining Vocations. Or be a Archer in heavy armor in general. Everyone has different Opinions yes, but cannot expect Dragon's Dogma 2 be the next Skyrim or the Next fallout. I Gave it a Positive Review on Steam and i love the game so far, Will 100% do NG+! I look forward to the future of this game.

Do you really find exploration that interesting? I'm close to finishing my second playthrough on NG+ now, but honestly, the world felt incredibly boring to me. What good is an open world, if there's nothing interesting in it to find? Combat is amazing, but there's always the same 5-6 types of enemies and the same big monsters. The loot is incredibly boring, the treasure chests are incredibly boring and picking up random seeker tokens isn't particularly interesting either. The only WOW!-Moment I had in the entire game was a certain quite elaborate and creative side quest that you can stumble across off the beaten path. But otherwise the whole exploration aspect of the game was a HUGE letdown to me, especially given how the game was hyped as super immerive and rewarding for explorers. Don't get me wrong: I think I got my money's worth, simply because the combat is REALLY good (albeit suffering from too little enemy variety), but pretty much the entire rest of the game I find mediocre at best, with many small issues that are just infuriating (horrible UI, incredibly stupid pawn AI, incredibly artificial dialogue, annoying jumping passages and the constant sliding off of ledges, to name just a few things). It's a decent game, but far from a great one. With a star rating, I'd probably give it 3/5. It's a solid game for people who enjoy the fighting, but it feels like the previews lured everybody in with the promise of "immersion" and "exploration", and in thsoe two areas the game doesn't live up to its promise at all for me.

But DD1 was like this too before Dark Arisen. And just simply knowing that Capcom will keep supporting the game with patches and new content makes me excited to play the game again. I love the Combat the most, no matter what enemy i face, I love the Archer's Agile & Mobility and the others, So i don't think i'll get bored of it anytime soon. I agree that the fast travel mechanic is likely more beneficial than detrimental to DD2, since it encourages exploration, and since exploration is one of the few things I think DD2 does exceptionally well. And I don’t think that the fast travel system warrants condemning DD2 to a one star review. However, you’re comparison at 2:30 between players who like online gacha point and click style games, while maybe not indirect, downplays the issue a bit. I definitely understand and agree with others that the fast travel system in dd2 is more of a hassle than a boon. Even by lategame, when I found myself with plenty of port crystals and ferry stones, I still found myself having to backtrack fully explored locations up to 15 minutes for x objective, or audibly sighed when I realized I didn’t have a port crystal in my inventory and would have to completely repeat the trek out- or just refused to use them in the event that I needed them later, resulting in me forcing myself to spend time backtracking an area I was already backtracking in. I think this could easily have been solved by putting portcrytals in ALL towns, not just major cities. Especially when I found myself fast traveling to a city, only to have to jump into an ox cart, oh great there’s a rai- and they killed the driver and destroyed the cart, great. All these things lead to frustration, like you mentioned; and while you and I and many others might not find that too egregious, I could definitely see how those instances would leave others to just sighing and shutting the game off.

There's so much you miss out on if you do the coronation early, and especially obtaining the improved 13:50 magic sword thing from the crazy scientist gives no indication that it'd advance the plot significantly. I agree that people who complain about the limited fast travel options are missing the point of the game. This is a really fun world to explore and take your time walking through. The journey is the best part of this game, not the destination. A lot of times, I could easily use a Ferrystone to teleport somewhere but I more often than not choose to walk there instead. Even roads and areas I've been through a bunch of times are always still enjoyable to see and experience again. This journey system is especially fun when paired with the idea of changing vocations frequently. Every area, old or new, becomes fresh again when you have the opportunity to play with your "new toys" in the form of your new vocation skills. It's really a blast to try out new attacks and learn a whole new combat system every few hours and it keeps the game interesting at every turn. And the more you play as a particular vocation, the more fun skills you unlock and get to try. So why wouldn't you want to take the "long way" everywhere in this game? This has got to be one of the most satisfying, addictive games I've ever played.

Let’s be honest. Games a good 65% outta a hundred at most. Has very good graphics but I mean idk. And feels like for the price can have more stuff added to it. Maybe more armors, more combinations with the vocations, better dialogue, and make interactions not feel so lame like gosh can’t tell you how I felt like I was playing some ps2 story on how the characters kept speaking. Doesn’t matter the genre of game if you have a population based area with NPCS make them fun to interact with. I played this game 120 hours and really tried but overall the satisfaction just was not there. Even getting kills with the bosses feels more of a “dang finally did it”. It was either I know what to do and how to do it or just die within 5 minutes. This is just my opinion.

I'm loving this game, and I never got into the first one. I can't understand people saying it's 'player antagonistic'. It honestly doesn't have that high of a difficulty curve, just don't take on giant monsters at super low levels (especially if they have 4 or 5 dots above their health bar...). And camp when the sun goes down. You don't use up camping gear unless monsters attack and it's destroyed (which has yet to happen to me). You can teleport with easily available ferrystones, but most of the fun I've had has been wandering around exploring, getting turned around a bit, then pulling myself back to the road to get back toward the quest I'm working on. Also, you can make as many characters as you want (on PC) by simply turning cloud saves off and copy-pasting your files to a back-up folder (I've got 4, and all the other online features like pawns work just fine). Each vocation plays very differently and are all fun (although I prefer to have a pawn tank so I don't have to worry so much about the loss gauge).

It doesn't deserve better than "mixed" until the game is fixed. The biggest issue with the microtransactions was that it shifted the conversation away from the technical state and performance problems of a rushed game. As far as Jim Sterling's review, it's not entirely wrong. The majority of the time someone complains about a friction point because of a design choice that is deliberately inconvenient or time wasting, the response from the "fans" is that you have to like it because it was that day in DD1. That's not a good reason. Journey 1 from town to town is fun. Journey 5 even. But when you're on journey 10 down the exact same road where you fight the exact same troll, exact same goblins and then the exact same harpies, it becomes a chore. Itsuno said something to the effect that if you have fast travel that means your world is boring. I would respond that if you have boring destinations the repeated same trip in between doesn't make your game engaging.

Mob variety is lacking, fighting the same goblins, harpies, wolves and the same large monsters over and over again is tiring and not especially challenging what so ever. The world is neat, but exploration for me doesn’t feel rewarding when there are no unique monsters to find and the loot is pretty lackluster. Story and side quests are pretty meh. The world doesn’t react to you really whatsoever and doesn’t feel natural. Many systems feel honesty dumbed down from the first one (throwable items gone, talking to pawns, less armor/clothing slots, no quest boards, no dual weapon vocations like strider). Also IMO we shouldn’t have to wait for DLC for a BBI equivalent. The first game was over a decade ago, honesty it should be in the base game of 2 and to give us a new experience with dlc for this one. Especially since end game is somewhat limited.

I think most people don’t understand that the one save limit is due to the pawn system. One pawn per account to share with other players.

I really enjoy the game and am happy I bought it after your videos! There are... issues, but I am a noob. I am level 20... and haven't even gotten far in the main story because I got lost in the map. The review mentioning the cart was relatable lmao I am mostly relying on the damage of my Pawns nuking the enemies. I am slowly learning...

Got to learn weak spots on bigger mobs helps a lot and also filling your vocations roll properly. The early game is rough but I’m on ng + and had to download a mod to buff mobs hp by 4x just so I didn’t one tap everything

On the PSN store the scores from buyers is closer to an average of 82%. The combat and gameplay is top notch, there are some problems with parts of the game, but I feel like it greatly improved most the things from DD1. Having pawns as quest guides helps now the first game I was getting lost too often, it’s better where if you need quest guide help you can get it but not all pawns have it and they guide you better when they do. I think it is the best action adventure/rpg since Dragons Age Inquisition. We probably won’t get another one since there has been some overreaction to a few of its problems which is fine if that is really what people want, not that many good games in these type genres left and they take many many years to make. Just a little surprised since for me this one of the best games I played in this genre, oh well I will be replaying this game many times I am sure for years.

I really would like to try this game, because it looks really cool and I like the pawn system. Unfortunately I don't think it will have a good performance on my laptop. But I'm enjoying watching your playthrough and maybe they fix the performance, so I can give it a try one day. By the way, I have a suggestion for you, since we are in a ARPG's phase, maybe you could give Divinity II - Ego Draconis a try, which is the only ARPG from Larian Studios, and I would really love to see you play it and I believe a lot of fans from this channel may like too. Either way, thank you for your work and always being assertive in your videos.

Great video, thanks Wolf! I am really enjoying the game now that I have added a mod to allow key bindings that the game doesn't support (no keypad support among others). I'm left handed and not allowing key binds to a good portion of keys was a real let down. I did use a controller to start but I prefer keyboard and mouse!

I love DD1 & 2 but I will say that I felt the need to buy the port crystal from the cash shop & that kinda miffed me. It's totally possible to miss the port crystals that are given in game. I had snuck around the checkpoint rest town & walked all the way to Bakbatahl. I was baffled that there wasn't a static port crystal there so I bought one from the cash shop so I could come back without having to walk 2-3 in game days.

My 10 biggest complains are : 1. Lack of Quality Main story ( I come from CRPG , JRPG , WRPG exp ) 2. Lack of Enemy Type 3. Advance vocation locked end game ( They need to move everything to ACT 1 ) 4. Itemization is really bad ( Best loot paid vendor ) , Upgrades don't matter much for difficulty. 5. Repeative Content and encounters 6. Lack of Quality New game plus with higher difficulty with more content. 7. Average Music / Voicelines 8. Performance issue on my 4090 9. Lack of Side Quality content Quests. 10. Exploration is average most of things are filled repetitive stuff and most boring caves i seen in a video game. 12 Year old Skyrim does better cave then this.

Assuming the restriction on multiple characters is because of the pawn system, they should just allow people to 'activate' or 'deactivate' a character slot, removing the associated pawn from the world upon deactivation. Even just 3 character slots would be adequate. There might be issues the devs saw with this, like players logging in to find their favorite borrowed pawns gone, or maybe they feared the number of high level pawns would be too low? It does look like most people would prefer that to the current limitation though.

I assume its because you can level all vocations and play whatever build you like with one character. Just Skip between them. I see no reason for another char except if you make major fckup or something.

There are few choices that can't be fixed during gameplay. They dont want save-scumming. If you get an important character killed, then use a stone to rez them. If you dragon plague a village, deal with the consequences. BG3 gets lauded for a similar design choice.
@A42AI
@A42AI 2 месяца назад
@@cmike123 That's fine, but not the issue I'm addressing. In my example, each character slot would still only have 1 save file. It seems conceptually possible, considering they added a new game button. It would just be a user friendly way to do what players did for dd1 (manually switching out a save to play a diff. character without deleting progress on your current character's story), and would help those on console. Having other character slots is a different convo from save-scumming or having multiple save files per playthrough. It's often a question of role playing and immersion, not straight up gameplay. I'm never going to create a mage type and have them go 2 handed warrior at any point if I can help it, for ex. I actually like the 1 save file per character for this type of game, and the new game button they added alleviates a lot of the worry about being stuck at the start. But being able to have another character without manually moving save files around would be an overall improvement. It does seem like a tech limitation resulting from a design choice, but not a design choice in itself.
@cmike123

@@A42AI I dont think Capcom has tech limitations. I think they are trying to save gamers from themselves. Gameranx just did a vid about how Developers fully understand Gamers' thought patterns. You just said you would never create a mage, then go 2H warrior at any point if you can help. That means you would gimp yourself by not getting the Augments from Warrior. You still arent forced to do what you dont want, but most gamers will be more likely to flesh out their characters since they cant just make another one.

I think the NPCs in this game are just too simple. They barely react to anything you do. I'd expect that from an adventure game, but in an RPG.. it was the main thing I think could be improved, the "immersion" aspect when it comes to the social interactions, not only on the combat. Besides that, it's a passable game for sure.

Dragons Dogma does not have pay to win features, it has pay for convenience. Its not even all that convenient. If you play the game normally, you will have plenty of PortCrystals and Ferrystones to use for fast travel. The issue in fast traveling everywhere, is that you lose out on a lot of experience, gold, and pawn badges (which is super important to making your pawns stronger). The only time you need a ferrystone is when you have to travel across the whole world, or when you are doing an important escort quest. Otherwise, traveling is fine on foot. Saw some people in those reviews complain about cooking. Cooking is completely optional, and you dont need it to camp. It only gives you a bonus for the next 24 hours. Feel free to skip it if you dont wanna grab meat, youre not losing out. The game is a strong 7.5/10 for me. A few bugs, and poor optimization takes a 1.5 away, and the rest is that i felt the main story/side quests couldve been a little better.

Great video as always. My favorite reviews are those 1 stars at plus 100 hours. Just pure hyperbole like the people screaming “dead game” before it even came out haha. For some people there just isn’t a middle ground, it’s only extremes and it the idea of a great game with a few issues just isn’t possible for them.

I think the problem is that a lot of people understand that game companies are just pushing more and more exploitative means and many are trying to wrap up garbage and tell us it's AAA. Every time we just let a company get away with it with no actual pushback it just means that the boundary for what becomes acceptable gets pushed a bit further each time. Public backlash and our wallet are the only real way we have to combat corporate greed. Some of the reviews are silly, of course, but they help. Even if Capcom doesn't take the hint it at least makes all the other companies watching see that maybe they should do things differently. We get way too many games that are released early full of optimization or bug issues and they just expect the players to deal with it. All of these are issues that should be resolved before release. Even if you think the game is 5 stars it's more about the industry as a whole. Just need a bit of unification where there's public backlash whenever a corporate company wants to use exploitative monetization practices or just lies about the quality of their product.

I found many of these negative reviews hilarious and just blatant lies. The lies went as far to say you need to pay extra just to create a character, or you need to buy microtransactions to fast travel. Yes, I agree that the performance issues complaint was legit. The microtransactions was also unneeded. Some people on my Steam friend list gave the game a bad review, but kept playing it religiously... This didn't make sense to me. Stop playing the game if you hate it so much for you to leave it a negative review.

this got way more low reviews then i would think, for me im a hardcore dogma fun absolutely loved the first game 10/10 the only thing that was annoying on the first game was the pawns constant dialogue drove u insane harp harpy harpy harpy goblin yikes but they did add a option to turn it off thank god, The moment i started playing this one i already fell in love with it, the Character customisation dont see any of that mentioned in these reviews when it is literally the best dam customisation ive seen in a game yet so detailed, i was able to make my Arisen really beautiful wads over the moon with that, the detail and customisation is amazing in dogma 2, would of loved for us to have a voice in this one but nope but thats cool i dont mind the silent protagonist used to it, the combat was amazing in this one to, the abilities of all the classes, some classes way more fun then others i noticed they basically took the - Strider, Ranger, and Assassin dagger abilities from the first game and melded them into the thief class, then the bow abilities from ranger and strider into the Archer class. the complaints about fast travel, u have ferrystones people that can teleport u to any portcrystal, i always felt fast travel was a cheap way to get to places i prefer earning my way to places. They gave pawns way more personality in this one they always make me laugh, the whole slapping ur hands after fights is really awesome and fist bumping xD, the new pawn inclinations are alot better then the 1st game. Dragons are even more challenging then they where making them more fun, they added more abilites you could do they made the enemys smarter like goblins throwing boulders and explosive barrels at you now something they never could do in the first. My main issues with dogma 2 and there are only a few - first i dont like the new dragon forging system using crystals to forge ur weapons, it was so much better getting ur gear forged after beating dragons loved that. No end game weapons from killing the main dragon no rewards u have to buy them with the wyrm crystals dont like that. Certain quests can be almost annoyingly hard figuring out what to do at times and finding quest givers is to hard at times some are easily missed, No hydras was my biggest bummer my all time fav enemy from dogma 1 is not in this game which sucks maybe they will add it at some point dlc perhaps. Lastly with as little spoilers as possible to get the true ending u have to do something u would never think to do why would you, i ended up fighting the main dragon 3x before i figured out what to do instead, oops forgot about the annoying locked doors u have to be a certain class to open like why just teach the pawns instead but most those hard to reach chests had poor loot anyway. thats the main issues i had. everything else was amazing love the new abilites the enemys have to. some nice new varients aswell. i dont understand how people find this game to hard, it dosent even have a hard mode like the first, the game is pretty easy, once ur past level 40 things get almost to easy, my first run of this game i completed it with no deaths at all none.

I only got to play the last two saturdays and I started over on the 2nd. The only time I've felt annoyed is of my own making because I love sequence breaking so some areas are tough at such a low level. I'm also on PS5 and unless I go from the noble quarter and back down, I don't really see slow down in town. I feel for ppl on PC who have worse performance than the console versions.
