When I see something like that it always scares me. Anyone who builds weapons, no matter what they are, will use them again sooner or later. Humanity hasn't gotten any wiser since Nero.

What a beauty, such a shame it gets a bad rap due to some American and British tank fanboys in Internet and RU-vid that claims themselves as "tank experts".
None of the Modern Age Tanks would be as good as they are now ... one of the few ww2 pro´s. im on the "looser side " but i think German engenieers layed down some of the most important fundamental pieces of modern technologies
I think the Leopard is the ultimate result of the learnings of ww2, a fast, thinly armored tank with a very big gun. They had the right idea with upgrading the Panzer IV. The Panther also, but should have been lighter. The Tiger I and II were a dead end.
@@rickglorie did you even come by the fact that the Panther actually heavily influenced the Leopard 1, there are hole books dedicated to this topic. The armor layout and thickness aswell as crosscountry mobility and weight is almost the same. Trench crossing, fording depth, max vertical climb, max grade, ground pressure, etc..... its almost the same. The leopard can do everthing 10 km/h faster because of the better engine, thats it.
@@HaVoC117X I know the picture, the panther ís the Leopard, but with 40s tech. The Panzer IV chassis was developed for a whole different war, but was a step in the right direction.
